K: ''I WAS ALREADY UP! GEEZ LADY!'' I yell back. I tried to sound somewhat polite towards her not because she's the woman who birthed me, but because when provoked that lady is scary. Today is my first day at U.A high, a school for people that have really good quirks, our society's superpowers. I bet I'm a hundred times better than those losers ever will be! 'I'm going to be the #1 hero! All Might will look like a buffoon compared to me!' I tell myself while using my exploding hands quirk. When I was a kid, everyone was jealous of my power. I got a bunch of 'Wow! You're amazing!' and some 'Geez your quirk is cool!' but the one I preferred above all was the rare 'You'll be such a great hero with a quirk like that Katchan!' I still blush at the memory of back when that nerd Deku and I were best friends. We were inseparable. However, all that changed when we both became four years old. I got my power, but he did'nt get one and I became a jerk towards him. I called him names and I am ashamed to admit that I often made him cry. I wanted to stop bullying him years ago but didn't want to seem weak in front of the other kids. However, when he started wanting to become a hero, a sudden fear washed over me. The fear of seeing him get hurt. That was the day I knew I would do anything I could to protect him... anything at all.
M: ''GET UP IDIOT!'' My mother yelled at me. I jumped out of my skin and decided I didn't want her to get angrier then needed.
