That Morning

Karkat's pov

Light was shining on my eyes signaling that it was morning. Opening my eyes I discovered I didn't know where I was at first but then remembered I was at Gamzee's. I squirmed and stretched in my blanket cocoon. I had a pretty decent night of sleep all things considered. I looked over and noticed his sister had snuggled really close to me. Her arm was wrapped around my waist and she was snoring quietly. I blushed at how close she was. Then I remembered she called me cute last night and kissed me...

What do I do? Do I ask her out now? No that's dumb besides she was probably just pitying me because I was upset about Terezi. Terezi my crush but she likes Dave and rejected me. I sighed and hugged Gamzee's sister. Without his clown make up I could actually see the resemblance between the two. They shared the same slender cheek and jaw bones. She was prettier than him but probably just because I didn't find Gamzee pretty. She smelt kind of nice.

I squirmed out of the pillow fort leaving Remlee to sleep. I then woke up Gamzee.

"Hey fuckass, when is your dad coming home?" I asked him.

He looked at me groggily and smiled lazily at me.

"Karbro, I guess that motherfucker should be back by noon what time is it?" He looked over at his clock it read 7:16.

"So I'm good I suppose. We have school fuckass get up." I mumbled.

Gamzee's father hated my dad and vice versa so Gamzee and I weren't allowed to hang out but we'd work around our parents' schedules and Gamzee always tried to sneak me over when I had a hard time. My older brother Kankri pain in the ass he is doesn't care if I hang with Gamzee as long as I don't get caught. And Kurloz doesn't give a damn about me staying either. He always visited Meulin and his dad didn't approve of her family either.

"I'm going back to sleep..." Gamzee dozed off.

I sighed and looked back at Remlee she was rubbing her eyes. She looked up at me and smiled.

"Hey Kar-kun! Still here?" She asked perkily. Her violet and dark brown hair was a mess but it was cute, kind of hot actually... I blushed at her stupid nickname.

"I told you not to call me that nooksniffer." I scowled.

She giggled and got out of the fort. Then she freaked out.

"Shit school!" She tripped on the sheets around the fort but caught herself and ran over to Gamzee.

"Motherfucking twin get up and smoke your pot" She shook him a little bit and he groaned.

"Karkat make sure he smokes before we leave but I'm sure you know that." She smiled at me cheekily and grabbed some clothes before running up the stairs.

I shook my head took care of Gamzee and myself.

Remlee's pov

I pulled on a purple plaid mini skirt and layered a knee length black glitter petticoat underneath it. Then I grabbed my black cat stockings and put on a black tank top before pulling a ripped and ink splattered dark gray band T-shirt over it. Then I laced up my combat boots and tousled mousse through my wavy hair. I applied royal purple eye-shadow and dark pink lipstick. Kurloz nodded to me and I waved back before clunking down the stairs.

"You boys ready yet?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

Karkat's face was red but he nodded. He was wearing a red plaid shirt and damaged jeans. Gamzee took another bowl from his gravity bong.

"Motherfucking twin. You look like a rockstar." He winked.

"Well I plan to be one, one day. Maybe... I'll probably just end up being a nurse or something with some weird hobbies." I laughed.
