Paris
I stood faster than I ever thought I could, storming over to Ryan as he stepped backwards away from me.
I could see the bitterness in his eyes, but I could also see that...
Well... he was terrified of me.
I pulled my gun out of my pocket and backed him against a tree, watching his singular eye beat in fear as I pressed the nose of the Glock to his forehead.
He started laughing despite the fear clearly coursing through him, and I still heard Riley screaming from behind me, clearly unable to get the knife out of herself.
I was originally going to pull it out, but when he kicked it, I wasn't sure how deep it went, so I needed to make sure it was safe to now.
"Paris," Ryan said, eye burning with rage and fear, "all bark, no bite."
And he shoved his wrist against mine, knocking the gun out of my hand as I yelled out.
And he landed a blow to my gut, but I hardened the muscles there so it barely impacted me, and I ended up striking him across the face with my fist.
He yelled out and collapsed to the ground, and I menacingly walked up to him when he shoved his hands to to ground to get up.
But I forced my foot into his shoulder, and he screamed as I heard a snap echo through the forest, and he collapsed back onto the ground, gasping.
I then stepped further to him while he tried to scramble away, not stopping when he finally managed to stand, legs shaking with all the pain clearly coursing through him.
He pulled up his gun and aimed it at me shakily.
But I struck his wrist with my fisted hand, knocking it out of his grip.
And I shoved him to a tree, making him yell when his shoulder hit the wood.
But I didn't stop there.
I took my thumb...
And I jabbed it into his wounded eye.
And that's when I heard his gorgeous screech, writhing from under me as the blood bloomed through the fabric faster, and slipped down his cheek like red tears.
I smiled then, pulling some barbed wire I found around here out of my pocket, and I shoved it to his throat, tightening it around the tree trunk as I pinned him to the wood.
His lips opened and closed like a fish, clearly trying to get air to his lungs when I blocked access to them.
"This was how Bella felt, I growled. "This was how Claire felt. Now you'll understand the pain they're in, and what Riley's feeling right now." I narrowed my eyes at him when his face started darkening to purple. "You mother fucker."
He started shoving his hands to my chest, but he was already so weak that it didn't even make me sway.
Blood bloomed from his skin of where the sharp bits of wire cut him, and I noticed his good eye starting to hemorrhage.
I wanted to watch the life drain out of him and I was enjoying it so very—very much.
His iris rolled to the top of his head, and I smiled when I noticed clear liquid pouring from his nose.
Cerebral spinal fluid.
I didn't stop choking him until he went limp under me, and I let go, watching him drop to the ground like a deformed teddy bear.
He was dead, but I still grabbed his gun from the ground next to us.
And I shot him in the head three times.
Riley was still crying next to me.
When his body lay limp under me, I immediately dropped the gun and ran over to her.
