The streets were crowded, just like everyday at twelve o'clock. Katherine stared at the small sea of heads walking from way to way, but it was until she noticed some children happily walking hand by hand with their parents that she remembered with joy that that day was Saturday, tomorrow she didn't had to work.

"I'm just outside the LMC" she said with a small smile to the person on the other side of the line, referring to the Medical Centre "Where do you want to meet?".

She felt butterflies inside her stomach as she heard every word that Charlie answered "There's a new restaurant close by, is it alright there Kat?" It was funny for the girl that Charlie was the only person that called her "Kat", but it was somehow nice too.

"Of course it is!" She let out with a high pitched tone that sounded almost childish "See you there Charlie", the man chuckled softly, said goodbye and after a confirming the sort-of-a-date a few times the call ended, call that made the blonde gal felt confident and powerful in a way she almost never felt. It was good.

"Crap!" She squealed out in happiness and shock as she realised what she just did. That little scream was then followed by bliss, fright, more bliss and finally by a strong need to puke. Her head was a random mixture of joy and horror until her eyes stopped at the black screen of her phone. Then it was all horror.

She stared at the thin rectangle on her left hand for some seconds, her heart in her throat and her mind finally on other place that was not Charlie. The woman began to shake her phone with anger, like if the sudden movement would force what she was looking for to appear from wherever it was hiding, but it didn't worked. Katherine then began to violently rub its screen, since she believed that maybe it was dirty and that could be the reason why her reflection wasn't in the black screen of her phone.

Of course doing that didn't changed anything either.

Without noticing Katherine arrived to the doors of the large local called "Ocelot". She was still rubbing the screen of her phone with a small cloth she found inside her purse, ignoring completely the people that were around her, but a loud yelp escaped from her mouth once she felt a hand land on her shoulder.

"Sorry Kat" the tall, young man said laughing a little at her reaction "I didn't want to scare you".

His apologise didn't sounded sincere at all, but Katherine didn't care. As a matter of fact she disliked being startled in any way, but right then she wasn't angry or ashamed, she was simply happy, but then, a strange feeling appeared on her gut, a feeling that told her that she should be on another place rather that this one, still, she was not going to miss a date with Charlie just because she felt a little strange, no way.

Years of preparation on psychology made her mentally capable of controlling herself.

"You're not sorry!" She replied smiling and gently punching his muscular arm, like if there was nothing wrong with her "Meanie!"

"Alright, alright. You got me! I do wanted to scare you" He replied raising his shoulders in a mocking matter, his perfect smile was making Katherine's cheeks warm and she felt that she couldn't keep staring at his mouth anymore without committing something that might not be ethical.

"Alright pretty girl, I reserved a table" Charlie said while getting closer to her, he gently grabbed her hand and guided her to a small round table with a tall crystal vase on its centre, a single rose was inside it. She was elated when she realised that the oldest of the Dalton brothers called her "pretty". The man guided her to the closest seat, then he pulled the chair for her to sit down and pushed it gently back to its place once she did, once more Katherine forgot about the problem with her reflection.
