4. Pleasant Feels

As soon as the prince was back, he was met with a ton of servants. They hurried around from left to right and carried stuff. It looked so damn busy.

When he got to the throne room, he saw his father sitting on it. But his mother was nowhere in sight.

As Touya entered the hallway of the throne room. He swam up to his father. Although looking at his mother's throne. She wasn't there..? He hummed, looking back up at the older Siren.

"Yes, father?" He questioned. Wanting to get the stupid conversation done with cause he was tired and wanted a nap. Before he'd go hunting to get Tenko some food.

The king looked at him. "Settle down. You need to get dressed up nicely and all. We have a meeting with another kingdom." Enji explained.

Touya perked up. Sighing a little as he narrowed his eyes. "Father, I said. I won't fucking marry whoever you choose. I'm not doing this meeting." He grumbled.

"Well for once it is not about that thing. The Mermaid Selkies have gone absolutely insane almost overnight." He spat at him. "And now their king is just pointing knives at everyone." He swam off his throne and a but around. "So he is like going around...and..we are the first he accused of killing the prince or kidnapping him."

He huffed as he looked at him. "So we gotta defend ourselves and all. Cause I did NOT do that." He looked at him.

His blue eyes inspecting every detail of his eldest. As if he saw searching for something. As if he had something to do with it....well he did.

Fucking hell. Why was he always stuck with so many problems in his life?!? He sighed. Nodding as he headed off into his room. Basically freaking out in there.

"Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!!!" He grumbled. Looking in the mirror of his vanity. "If they find out. I'm fucking dead as a fish!" He groaned. Thinking, maybe they wouldn't find out. But– the guard said he smelled weird. He must've smelted like a merman.. FUCK.

It only took about 10 minutes for his mother to come to him. She had done her hair and wore some shell necklaces. She swam over to him. "What is wrong?" She asked her oldest as he was just laying under his blanket.

Touya huffed in distress. Looking at his mother as he shook his head. "No, nothing. Nothing is wrong." He couldn't tell her that he kidnapped the Selkie prince and now they were suspecting him of that kidnap..

"Hey. It is alright." She went down to kiss his head.

She gave a small sigh. "I'll get you something. You smell like fresh sea foam." She kissed his head again. She knew that this was not what a Siren was supposed to smell like.

He shook his head. "No, no need. I'll just stay here. I just need to think about what I did.." He muttered. Thinking about it. What if they found Tenko? In that cave? No. They couldn't. He was trapped in that loop so he couldn't leave.

"Come here. We need to get that smell off of you....you smell like the merfolk." She explained as she got some sea tang to rub it on him, hoping it would cover up the delicate and slightly sweet sea foam smell.

He whined in distress but allowed his mother to do her thing. Since he couldn't go around and smell like this the whole time.

The Siren gave a small smile as she rubbed the smell if the merfolk off. "So? I guess the thing between you and the Mer is going well?" She asked as she went through his messed up hair.
