The human mind is a vast and endless mystery, that we haven't even unlocked more than 10% of.
At least, not until a couple of decades ago. A scientist, Marcus D. Drench was working on the evolution of mans brain. Saying as apes were the closest species related to human, he was looking at how apes unlocked more percentage of their brains, so that they could evolve into the humans we are today.
Apparently he found something, something that gave him the secret to unlock 10% more of our brain. So 20% of our could be unlocked using this method. And unlike the movie "Lucy", we don't need a drug. We only need a simulation made by Drench to teach us how to unlock more of our brain. Saying as Drench was 56 years old when he did this experiment to himself, he is now 76, and he looks not even 40.
Now I know that people living longer is a sin or something, but he found this thing himself, and he is very, VERY specific about who he wants to undertake the experiment. There are only a select few people who he wants to undertake in this little project.
Every 5 years, he goes to every state in the United States, Canada, New Mexico (Mexico got over ran by Spaniards, and is now more orderly), and the United Kingdom, and chooses 15 people, from 15 different cities (1 from each city) and they get to undergo the experiment. Now no one ever really knows what happens in the experiment (except for those of who undertake it) but everyone knows that once you come out of it, something happens to you. The one thing everyone knows is, you unlock 10 more percent of your brain.
I've done a LOT of research on what happens with that. Read a lot of books and papers written by Drench. From what i've read, seen, and heard you unlock the ability to learn things faster, better, and your memory gets better. I also read in his book ,"Under the Brain: 20% Better", Drench explains the fact that every humans chemical balance in his or her brain is different, so everyone will have a different reaction. Some may get different kinds of abilities, some may get super smart, some may actually die.
That is why Drench goes and does all the interviews for the experiments himself. Some say he got the power to read minds, so he can tell what kind of person they are. The year being 2035, Drench is going to go through my city this year, and I'm hoping he will interview me. Oh yeah, by the way, my name is Jane Rane. And yes I know that rhymes.
This is the first time he will be going through our town, and I'm glad that he is coming too. I need something to give me an excuse to get of the damned house. Anyways, if he does come through here, he will be very very disappointed with the choices because our town is fucking horrible.
I live on the south side of Lanesville Tennessee. The most ghetto place you'll ever visit in the New United States. It's people are all racist, have GPAs of .5, and hold the populations highest amount of murders in one city (which is 148 by the way), so I dont think many people will get chosen. See the way Drench chooses his experimenties is he looks at their records, and if it's clean, and they have a GPA of 3.8 or higher, he will choose them.
Me? I'm 16, have no friends, a GPA of 4.00, have great looks, and the worst thing i've ever done was take one of my moms chocolate bars when she left for work. I'm the smartest good looking kid in town. So I hope age doesn't matter to Drench. Because I need to get out of this shit hole.
