Yamada Asaemon Hayume wonders why she even bothered herself with something like being a babysitter for a criminal no less. Maybe she was bored or done it to escape the immense pressure of being a female executioner of the Yamada clan.
One things for sure, she knows she will lay at the hands of death at the attempt to find the Elixir of Life.
