'Talk informally to him?' After digesting seokjin's words, Jackson shivered and realized something. 'I've made a faulty judgment.' He was certain that the nobles he was acquainted with had gossiped about Lord Kim's lack of manners, as well as his dreadful and arrogant personality.
"Go ahead and talk down to me." Seokjin said with a haughty tone, staring at Jackson with angry and intimidating gaze.
No matter how much Jackson observed seokjin, he was not a little child but a devil that would threaten his life the moment he let his guard down. 'This vile devil. He has the nerves to say that because he knows I'm not able to speak informally to him.' He had become a nobleman by being shrewd, so he knew that if he spoke informally to seokjin for the sake of his pride, he would be punished for rebel. This crime was serious enough to take away his hard-earned, insignificant status.
Jackson hurriedly bowed. "I have caused a great inconvenience to the lord. Please be generous and forgive me."
Even though he apologized, Seokjin shook his head and said coldly. "I don't think you should seek forgiveness from me, but from my escort."
Jackson gritted his teeth, furious by the possibility of bowing down to a commoner. Even so, he immediately lowered his head, knowing that he would enrage seokjin if he didn't apologize.
"I'm sorry about what happened. It seems like I have misunderstood you." He forced out.
Sensing the insincerity of his words, Jungkook stared at him instead of responding.
'How dare a commoner act so arrogant toward me just because he's backed by Lord Kim!' Jackson stared back at Jungkook, then step back when he saw red eyes clouded with bloodlust. 'I didn't realize it until now, but how are his eyes so...' He had done everything to climb the social hierarchy, from becoming a hitman bound by contract to threatening and harming others. Despite all his dirty deeds, he had never seen such menacing eyes. 'That thing is dangerous.' Jackson who was now frightened by this mere commoner, gulped out of nervousness and felt the urge to leave this place as soon as possible.
"Now that I have apologized, I'll be leaving."
When Jackson disappeared, almost as if fleeing from the scene, Jungkook raised a corner of his lips deviously. 'Jackson...huh. I should kill this fool soon.'
At that moment, he heard a voice that tickled his ears. "Are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere?"
When the face he had been searching for came into view, his bloodthirsty eyes became normal right away. 'Did he think I was going to get hurt by an idiot?' Jungkook was about to respond in usual manner, then stopped upon remembering what seokjin had once told him.
"I'm still in a situation where I'm being ignored by people in high society, How will they take me seriously if you disrespect me as well?"
Jungkook held Seokjin's slender and warm hand tightly, and replied. "I'm fine, my lord."
Seokjin's eyes quivered in response.

Seokjin's pov:
'I can't believe he just left like that.'
It was odd to see Jackson leave so quitely after causing a commotion and insisting on receiving an apology, but it wasn't so strange when I thought about it. 'Well...it wasn't my intention to make him feel uncomfortable about speaking informally to me, but he probably felt that way, considering my social status.'
There was no telling what he would have done to my father's disciple if I hadn't intervened and unintentionally degrade him.
