Vampire

Chapter 2

Lisa literally bounced off the bench and ran up to him. "Hey, it's so Nice to meet you. I'm Lisa". She showed off her prettiest smile that she always used when there was a guy she liked near her.

Everybody got up and said hello, but he seemed kind of shy and he kept his eyes on me quite alot. I sat down next to Benjamin, a near friend of mine. We had known eachother since we were about 3 years old. "what's up Benny?" i asked him, but when he was going to answear James came over and interrupted him. "Hey, would you mind walking with me?"

James POV

I walked over to her and interrupted her conversation with one of the guys. He had short blind hair with blue eyes. "Hey, would you mind walking with me?" I Asked her. "Um.. Sure" she said and got up. I led her into the shadows were nobody else could hear or see us. "Come over to my house tonight", it wasn't a question. "I don't know if i'm free tonight, James and I don't know you that well" she said. " Why are you being so difficult?" i said to her but before she could anwear i looked deep into her eyes. " You are going to come over at my house tonight" i said using my control to compell people. She snapped out of the trance, smiling to me. " when shall i come over?" she asked. I smiled back saying "Oh we can discuss that after school". I strolled off leaving her there.

Kate's POV 

I shook my head to clear it and when i opened my eyes James was gone. I wrapped my hand around myself. It was chilly back here in the shadows. I quickly started to walk back to my friends, but James wasn't there either. Where did he go? 

I sat beside Benjamin again and we started to talk about school and stuff. After a while he asked me, "What did James want to talk to you about anyways?". I started thinking. "Uhm.. We.. we were talking about me coming over after school". "Oh" he said and he looked kind of shocked, but he didn't have the time to question me as the bell started ringing. I took up my purse from the bench and started walking towards the classroom. 

When school was over I went outside and stood next to where the bus comes. Lisa went up to me and aksed me, "Kate why are you just standing here? aren't you going on the bus?". Before I could answer her, James came over.

James POV

I saw Kate standing next to the bus stop, talking to Lisa. I was a few metres away, but i heard Lisa clearly as she asked Kate, "Kate, why are you just standing here? arent you going on the bus?". Before Kate could answear I was there right next to them. "Kate was just waiting for me" I said as I flashed a big smile. She blinked a few times, trying to compose herself. "Oh, alright then" she said and gave Kate a meaningful look before walking onto the bus. 

"Come with me, Kate" I said and pulled her over to my  car. I opened the passenger door for her and took her purse. She sat in, not looking completley at ease. I gave her  the purse before I slammed her door shut and walked over to the driver's side. I sat down and drove fast out of the school parking lot. "Hey, slow down" Kate said with panick-striking eyes. I just chuckled at her fear and stepped a bit harder on the gas. She buckled up and sent me glares every so often. "Chill James! Don't get us both killed" she said, her hands held so hard around the seat that her hands were white. "Keep your eyes on the road!" she shouted at me. "As you wish" I said and looked forward again. 

After a few minutes we reached my house, far from all of the houses in the town. The house was hidden in the forest so no one could see it until  they were alomost right in fornt of it. I stopped the engine and got out of the car and over to Kate's side. I opened her door and she questionly took my hand as i reached it out for her. She got out and jumped when i slammed the door shut behind her. I took my right and grabbed her wrist and pulled her behind me. "So Kate, what do you want to do?" I asked her with a teasing look on my face. 

"I-I don't know" she said and bit her lip. I put my hand in my pocket and took out my keys and unlocked the door. Once inside I locked the door and i let go of her wrist. She looked around my house, looking like she wasn't sure what  to do or say. "Why don't you go into the living room?", I said and ponited it out to her. She nodded and started to slowly making her way there. 

I stood still for a bit in the hallway before starting to walk after her. She sat on the sofa, she smiled to me as I came in and patted the spot next to her. I sat down and brushed my thumb over her cheek. She pulled herself back from me, "what are you doing?" she asked. I opened my mouth to reveal my growing fangs. She screamed and scrambled to her feet. Great, I love it when they're feisty. I ran over to her and pulled her head back and plunged my teeth into her neck. She screamed out in pain and tried to hit me and kick me, but her efforts were useless. After a few seconds i dropped her to the floor and wiped a hand over my mouth. She wasn't dead, not yet. I like a little girl to play with. I sat down next to her, turned her towards me. "Open your eyes!" I yelled at her. She opened them and stared into my eyes. Her heart was beating super fast and she was shaking uncontrollably. I stared deeply into her eyes. "You will not remember what just happened. I invited you in and we opened up to eachother. You think you might be starting to fall for me. You accidently got the wound at your neck and you will not show it to anyone". 

She was dazed for a few seconds as she took it in before she smiled up at me and bit her lip. "That wound of yours looks messy. Let me help you over to the couch" I said and carried her to the couch. She blushed as she looked up at me. "I'm such a clutz sometimes". I walked into the kitchen to get a cloth so I could clean her wound up. I held it under the sink before I walked back to her. I pressed the cloth to her wound, making her wince a bit. "Hold still" I instructed her and she listened. 

Kate placed her hand over mine to hold the cloth tight to her neck. I let go of the cloth and turned towards the TV. "Would you like to watch a movie with me?". Her stomach groweled and I smiled at her. "I could make you some food?," I asked. "Yeah, that'd be great" She said and with that I strolled off to the kitchen again. I opened up the cabinets and were just about to take out a package of pasta when someone slammed me down to the floor.
