Once upon a time there was a little old woman and a little old man. The elderly couple craved flesh so they found themselves a ginger bread man.
The little old woman looked at the man who had cornflower eyes and rouged cheeks and thought to herself "what a marvelous treat!" She went home to tell her husband of her marvelous plan.
So she gathered her ropes, bear traps. and nets and out she went to pin down her sustenance. Her husband said "wait! You're forgetting something!" The man paused and gave her her jacket "now you're all set! Go on and sack it!"
On her way through the woods the woman was stopped by two hungry wolves she beat them both dead for she was in a great hurry. "No distractions" she said with her head up high " I must get my dinner or I'll lose my mind" so along she went with her mind on the target "there he is!" She thought and approached her prey.
She asked him for help to stretch out her bag. "If you would just climb inside while I hold it up the fabric will stretch and then I'll be on my way."
So the man got in the bag and her plan was on track, she tied the bag shut and bent down to smack it.
She dragged her prize all the way home where her husband awaited while he worked on his loam.
She brought her loot inside and opened the bag when she peered in the bag aback she was took!
Her ginger bread man had been replaced with hay!
"Darn!" She uttered "no dinner for us" she told her husband. Out in the distance she heard a shout "run, run as fast as you can. you can't catch me, I'm a ginger bread man!"
