Sonic was in the house and heard a doorbell ring, getting up and seeing Tails had come to his house. "Hi Sonic, I came as soon as you called, so tell me, what happened between you and Shadow?" Tails said as he walked in but didn't expect to see Knuckles had come as well. "Knux? What are you—" Sonic got cut off by Tails. "Oh, he wanted to come along, he overheard and thought our little team group got together, and I said yes" Tails said as he sat down on the couch while Knuckles sat next to Tails and rubbed his head.

"Alright, fair enough Knux" Sonic said as he closed the door, sitting next to Tails as well but on the opposite side. "So explain what happened" Tails said as he looked at Sonic. "Well, I hid under Shadow's desk at work, and once he was settled in I. . . did something very stupid. . . and could've cost him his job. . . and now here I am after he told me to go home. . . I think he hates me as his boyfriend. . .  and I think I ruined my relationship with him because of what I did. . ." Sonic said as he tried not to cry. "Oh Sonic, come here, come to your best friend, bring it in" Tails said as he held out his arms, immediately after doing that Sonic quickly got into his arms and hugged him tightly. Tails smiled and wrapped his arms around Sonic.

Knuckles suddenly hugged both of them so they can have a group hug to show Sonic was going to be okay. "Thanks guys, I needed that" Sonic said as he wrapped an arm around Knuckles in the process. Tails smiled while Knuckles hugged both of them close. After a few seconds, they slowly let go and the hug concludes. "We are here for you Sonic, we are Team Heroes after all, we will always stay a team! Right Knuckles?" Tails asked Knuckles. "Yeah, Team Heroes to the very end, power bump?" Knuckles asked as he held out his fist.

"Most definitely!" Tails said as he put his fist near Knuckles's fist. "Why not, power bump!" Sonic said as he bumped both their fists together with his own fist. All three then laughed and were having a good time near each other. "So, what is happening with you Tails? Still making inventions?" Sonic asked. "No duh, I am just laying on my workbench, of course I am making inventions still! What am I, chopped liver?" Tails asked as both Sonic and Knuckles burst out laughing. "Fair enough buddy, what about you Knux?" Sonic asked Knuckles.

"Well, I am still living on my island, it is nice and peaceful if you wanna visit with Tails" Knuckles said as he looked at Tails. "Yeah, I would like to visit Angel Island again, how about you Sonic?" Tails asked. "Well, what the heck, I would love to come with you on the Tornado" Sonic said with a smile. "I would like that, and we can even sunbathe near the grassy areas, I will make sure to find a good place" Knuckles said as he chuckled and holds Tails' hand. Tails softly blushed a bit as he looked at Knuckles. Sonic slowly noticed what was going on.

"Wait. . . are you dating each other?" Sonic asked questioning what he is seeing before his eyes. "U-Umm, well—" Tails was too embarrassed to say the truth, making it more obvious that it was true. "Aww! I am right aren't I? That is so cute!" Sonic said as he rubbed Tails' head. Tails blushed as he looked down feeling Knuckles nuzzle his head on his. "Knucklehead, who knew you would swoon Tails, and the fact you are a love interest to him is just adorable, I should start calling you Lovebird" Sonic joked as he laughed a bit. "Oh hardy har har Sonic, have you been called Mr. Needlemouse before?" Knuckles said with a smirk.
