Ruth was a teenage girl in the 11th grade. Ruth was a clout-chasing girl that would do anything just to become famous. One day, Ruth and her classmates decided to do the unthinkable for fame.

School was over, and it was time for students to get home. As Ruth exited the gate, she saw her friends waiting for her outside. "What's good, homies!", She greeted them. "What's good, my guy Ruth!", Aian greeted back. "Y'all, have y'all seen Ash's following on TikTok?!", Esther said. "No? What's up?", Kate and Ruth asked. Esther answered them by showing her phone to them. Their jaws went down. Ash, a girl they didn't like had gained 200 thousand followers on TikTok. "No way! Didn't she have like.. 6 followers last week?!", Kiya asked in shock. "Well, yeah, but one of the videos she posted went crazy viral! It has 3.7 million likes!", Said Esther. "Show us.", Julia requested. Esther showed them the video that caused Ash's intense views. It seemed to be a video of her and her friends exploring the nearby abandoned business building that was rumoured to be haunted. "Oh, come on! We can't just let this slide. Come on, guys, think! We can do something to beat her.", Said Ruth competitively. "Stop being dramatic, goodness. Are you crazy? It's just followers and views. Not a big deal. Besides, are we still competing with a girl that beat you on the singing contest in the 11th grade? It's been a whole year, Ruth!", David said. "Sorry, but she hasn't paid.", Ruth replied. "I have an idea." Said Kate, while looking an abandoned apartment building, Project 608 of Harl Cooperation 1958. It was rumoured to be a more haunted building than the business building that Ash explored. "Tomorrow night, folks!", Oliver said, saying he was gonna pick up everyone in his car tomorrow night to drive to the building.

TIME SKIP
TOMORROW NIGHT

Oliver had picked up everyone, ready to go to the abandoned apartment building. They thought everything was planned properly, but the forgot about one thing. The parking. "Um... Guys... I think we have a problem... I have no idea where to park... I can't just park behind the building, we're gonna get caught! We shouldn't even be here in first place, this place is strictly forbidden. It's illegal to enter for a reason.", Said Oliver. "Then why did you agree, you idiot!", Julia yelled at him. "Let's just go somewhere else! The mall! Don't let fame ruin your life. You could be arrested! You girls are doing all this just for fame and to beat Ash. Ash probably forgot Ruth exists. She doesn't care if you beat her or not. Let's just go.", Said Drex. "Shut up, Drex! You're just a scared little baby! If you want, you can just leave! You don't have to cancel our plans just because you're a kid that can't take any risk. Go take your baby ass somewhere else. You don't know how it feels to be lower than your enemy.", Ruth yelled. "She's not even your enemy, she doesn't give a damn about you. It's just one sided beef. And sure! I'll leave. Don't come crawling back to me when you get arrested.", Drex yelled back, exiting the car while the friend group booed him and chanted "goo goo ga ga". "That fight gave us no solution. Now tell me, where do we freaking park?!", Said Oliver. The friend group looked around, and somehow, James got the idea to hide in a forest. "Guys, have you thought about parking in the woods?", James suggested. "The woods?! Are you crazy, James?! Only psychopaths would think about that.", Said Rizi. "I mean, do we have a choice?", Said Dhane. "It's not that bad. I've explored that forest last month, it wasn't a lot. It's really quiet. Relaxing, actually.", Said Kiya. They all agreed to park in the forest.

They successful parked somewhere the car wouldn't be easily spotted. They exited car with their backpacks. "Woah. It's actually lit in here. Next adventure, we're definitely going here.", Oliver said. "The next adventure is either this, or jail.", James said jokingly, making everyone laugh. Kate was laughing at James' joke, until she saw something unsettling. She saw a tree with a swing on it. And on that swing was a little girl around 6 years old. She was wearing a bloody white dress. She had long black hair and very pale skin. Her eyeballs were hanging from the sockets of her eyes. Kate thought her view couldn't get anymore worse, but she realized that her internal organs were hanging out of her body. Kate slowly pointed to the little girl, warning her friends to run away. Instead, her friends screamed in joy and ran to the swing. The little girl disappeared and her friends started swinging one by one. She thought to herself, "Where the heck did the little girl go?!". She convinced herself it was just her brain playing tricks on her because she lacked sleep last night. She stopped zoning out and walked to her friends to watch them have fun. "Hey Kate, wanna join? I'll push you", Aian offered her. "Ohhh looks like Aian is desperately trying so hard to get Kate's attention!", Said Rizi. "Shut up, Riz! That's why your mom names you after a sigma term! He's literally just a brother to me. Thanks Aian my guy, but I'm good.", Kate replied, but she was clearly blushing. She's had a crush on Aian for a long period of time. But Aian on the other hand, was extremely hurt to hear that from Kate. He wanted to be more than a brother to her. He liked Kate ever since he had seen her for the first time, in the 9th grade. But he played cool, acting like he didn't just hear the most painful words ever.

"Dang, Aian! Your crushie crush just rejected your pushing service! If I were you, I'd just cry myself to sleep tonight.", Said David. "Crushie crush who? We just cool! We all know I have a thing for someone else.", Aian replied. He saw how Kate's smile slowly dropped. But he didn't think much of it. "Hey Kate, since you aren't doing much, how bout hold my phone while I swing?", Julia suggested. "Me too!", Everyone followed as they gave their phones to Kate. Kate put the phones in her bag, including her own. After a while of watching them, she kind of found it fun. "Hey guys, maybe I do want to join! Can you push me, Aian?", She said, running to the swing. "No way bro, out of everyone, she chose you!", Oliver said to Aian. "Shut up.", Aian said as he ran to the swing to push Kate. While he was pushing Kate, everyone just kept chanting, "Kaian", their ship name. "You know what, let's just get in the damn building. That's what we're here for, isn't it?", Said Kate. Everyone agreed with Kate and left the forest.
