"Brother! Please reconsider!" a golden clad man pleaded.
"I thought about this decision for many hours, Brother. And there is nothing to reconsider! What THEY did? It is unacceptable!" a man clad in midnight black robes snapped.
The gold man held his midnight brother's arm and forced him to stop. Harshly turning him around to make his brother face him. He stared intently at his brother's cyan eyes. And he knew right there and then.... that his brother was really enraged. Very, very enraged.
"Brother, you—"
As he was about to point out the obvious, a door suddenly banging open stopped him from doing so.
They were in front of the Leo Office. A room where every single God would gather to discuss certain important matters.
A man wearing the galaxy came out in a hurry and stopped in front of them panting hard.
He glared at the recently arguing brothers. "Where have the two of you been?! Everything is chaos inside and the both of you are here taking your merry time talking about!"
The midnight brother rubbed his temples in distress. "What has happened so far?" he asked.
"THEY are trying to kill them!" the galactic man shrieked.
The brothers eyes widened in surprise and shoved him aside.
The room was a mess as previously said. The chairs were toppled over, the walls charred black by being blasted by magic.
In the middle of it all was the acting Judge. It was evident that THEY were furious as THEY were being stopped by the other Gods.
"Stop this interference at once!" THEY boomed. THEIR voice hinting rage, disappointment and disgust.
Which made Nightmare — the man clad in midnight — disgusted as well.
Not for what was recently their problem, no. But for the acting Judge's reaction.
They were all men here. Not a woman in sight. THEY should've expected that one day all of them would be infatuated with one another. They would be tempted to love who was nearest to them because of the emptiness of immortality but even then, those feelings and emotions were real and true and sincere.
Nightmare was disgusted because the acting Judge said that any type of love was acceptable as long as they were not hurting anybody. And yet, THEY are reacting like this.
Ink and Error weren't hurting anybody. In fact, everyone was happy for them. Ecstatic even.
Lust, or Violet as they call him, was the most joyful. He was the God of Passionate Love after all.
"Stop this utter nonsense!" Nightmare thundered.
It did the trick. Every single one of them froze then turned to him with wide eyes.
He strode to the middle of the room and faced the acting Judge in anger. While his gold clad brother, Dream, approached Ink and his lover Error.
"Are you alright, Ink? Error?" he asked, utterly worried.
Ink nodded firmly and held Error's hand. Error, in return, squeezed his hand in assurance.
Dream, who witnessed such loving acts, could only wish to find someone who would love him as much as Error loves Ink.
But he shook his head. 'What am I doing thinking of such things at a time like this?'
He snapped out of his reverie when, once again, he heard his brother's booming voice echo throughout the room.
