"What are you doing? Eugene."

"Uhm, nothing,,,,,,don't mind me...."

boss seeks in the paper Eugene's hiding. "let me see?

"Gasp" "let me show you once I'm done?"

"..."

"...no?"

"...."

" okay, show me once you're done."

"a-alright.."

Boss heads out of Eugene's room. Eugene phews and goes on with his writing.
Eugene's feeling strange from the conversation they had just now, but when he realized that it was actually for boss, he felt quite embarrassed.

Eugene finally finished writing, it's past midnight.

"haaa.....I finally finished it, now how do i give it to him? It's not like I can hand it to him and say that it is a-"

Eugene flushes bright red the moment he was about to say 'love letter', which was written for boss.

I am finally seriously going to confess to him...but i'm nervous....what if....he rejects me?.....

After hesitating for a while,
Eugene decides to leave it in the office as boss would definitely notice it.

**Next day**

"ahm, hello River!"

"hii~ twinkles eyes"

"Uhh... where's everyone?"

Eugene asked for everyone since only stating 'boss' would feel awkward.

"Oh, boss is upstairs and others went out for some air"

"eh, everyone went out for air..?"

"yes, but boss is upstairs, waiting for you~"

he is waiting for me?

"He wants to see me? what's the m-matter?"

"you'll only know once you go upstairs~" pushes eugene "now goooo~"

"Okay erm-"

River leaves Eugene in front of boss's door and her eyes twinkle as she says,
"Have fun, tell me later what happensss"

River leaves. Eugene is burning with tension as he slowly opens the door.

"uh, hello.....boss?"

He noticed there was no one in the room, the room was dark but a lamp was lit. His letter was on boss's table.

Gasp. He has read it

Eugene was already getting cold sweats, all out of extreme tension.

What if he scolds me for writing such a thing? What if i get fired? where is he actually?

He was feeling dizzy from all these thoughts running through his head. Suddenly he felt a pair of arms hugging him from the back.

"what took you so long?"

Eugene maintained his silence as he was burning with tension and couldn't process everything at once.

after a moment, he said in a small voice,

"boss..."

"yes, what is it?"

"d-did you....read it?"

his voice was small and childlike, and he was shaking.

"..."

Eugene couldn't see boss's face but boss was blushing hard hearing his voice like that for the first time.

"....."

"....yes"

Eugene felt like he was going to collapse right now.
Maybe he shrunk a size smaller, now he could hide his bare face inside boss's arms and chest. He couldn't look at his face and his voice won't come out.

"what're you doing in here?"smils softly

"...umm.."

boss was both blushing and smiling now.

Eugene would face boss directly if he even moved his face a bit

boss said warmly looking at the little mushrooms head,
"how long are you gonna stay like that?"

Eugene's head almost rose instantly as he said it suddenly, with such a different tone. Now there was just an inch distance between their faces.

Eugene stared at boss frustrated, face red, sweating. He looked extremely cute to be described.

Boss could feel the heat from Eugene's body. Right before boss could do anything, Eugene let go of him and rushed towads boss's table.
why the heck did you let go of the embrace, fool.

He looked behind him and saw boss standing, his face cofused. Not knowing what to do now, he just took the letter and handed it to boss with a shaky hand. He almost felt numb from embarrassment.
Boss looked at the letter and smiled, while reading it all over again as eugene calms down slowly.

"I'm done reading it"

"Umm.....are yo-"

"for the sixth time."

"huh?"

"I'm done reading it for the sixth time."

"....

huhh?!"

this man has read this that much times? For what? I...

"And no, I'm not gonna reject you. I think you should have told me about this sooner."

Before eugene could say anything, boss pulled him to himself by his waist.

"boss-"

"if you had told me sooner, none of us would have struggled."

He brings his face closer to eugene's.

"wait-"

"I can't wait any longer, dear."

he pulls eugene for a sweet, delicate, soft kiss. He tried to keep it as smooth and slow as he can.Eugene accepts the kiss and puts his arms around boss's neck, as he leans in for an even deeper kiss.

they shared an inseparable kiss for a long time, then he let go so eugene could catch some air.
boss slides one of his hands down to eugene's hips, causing him to let out a sound. Eugene, this time pulled boss and entwined their lips together again, this time the kiss was a lot deeper and sensual than the last one, a lot slower and passionate than the last one. The air around them was hot and steamy, their heartbeats could be heard clearly. The golden lamp made the situation even crazier.

"I want to hear you say it."

"...w...what?"

"i wanna hear you say "i love you'."
