Ari entered through the door and was greeted by a very bright light, Ari had to cover his eyes but when he lowered his hand he was shocked by what he saw. Shiganshina, but it wasn't the war-torn battlefield it was back in the real world, instead, it looked like how it did prior to the wall coming down. Ari looked over and saw Hannes and a few other Garrison soldiers sitting on some crates playing cards and drinking, they were guarding the outer gate.

Zeke: This was effectively the beginning of your story, Ari.

Then Ari's father and mother approached the gate that Hannes was guarding. Holding to his mother's hand was a small 4 year old boy.

Hannes: Sanna, Appo, and little Ari, so good to see you all!

Appo: Hannes, good to see you as well.

Hannes: Where are you headed?

Appo: Me and Sanna have decided that we are going to start taking Ari out on hikes.

Hannes: Oh that's good, a young boy needs fresh air. How often?

Sanna: 6 days out of the week.

Hannes: Woah! Don't you think that's a bit much?

Young Ari: No way! I'm really excited!! I've been waiting for soooooooo long!!

Hannes: Ok ok ok. Well, have fun out there, Ari!

Young Ari: I always will!

As his younger self and his parents left out the gate to begin Ari's training, Zeke turned to Ari.

Zeke: You were tenacious even as a child. This is the wrong memory though, come on. Let's go back to your TRUE beginning.

Ari and Zeke walked through another doorway and found themselves in a wooden log cabin in the woods. Ari wasn't 100% certain but he could take a good guess as to where he was now.

Zeke: Come on.

The two men walked down some very long stairs to the basement. It was here where Ari's suspicions were confirmed. Ari was in the cabin of the Tybers, this was the very place where the Warhammer was stolen from them decades ago. Ari watched as his great grandfather Stephan and his partner Rothal gunned down many members of the Tyber family, even young children.

Zeke: You see now? The cruelty, the senseless bloodshed, the death of even kids.

Ari didn't respond. Instead, he watched intently as Stephan made his way to the middle of the room and got ready to inject himself with titan serum.

Stefan: DEATH TO MARLEYANS! LONG LIVE ELDIA!!!!!!

Ari watched as nothing happened and Rothal lambasted him.

Rothal: Stefan! What are you doing?! Inject yourself now!!

Meanwhile, Zeke was confused.

Zeke: Wait, this is when he is supposed to take the Warhammer, why isn't he doing it?

Ari then began to walk around to Stephan's front as his great grandfather looked around at the children and all the other people he would supposedly kill.

Then Stephan gasped as Ari entered his field of view and put both of his hands on his shoulders. Ari spoke to his great grandfather coldly but with intent and determination.

Ari: Do it. Do it NOW!

Stephan: But there's so many of them, children...

Zeke's eyes widened, what Ari was doing was not possible, at least according to Zeke's understanding. Ari was affecting the past, from the memory.
