Chapter 2

-Marjorine-

Chapter 2 begins now.

I sighed getting up to clean my room. It's the weekend and I can't even go out!

I got up grabbed my TV remote and turned on 'Living Room Floor' by Jhené Aiko. I hummed singing along as I swept the floor.

I was in my zone before I got a FaceTime call, it was Kenny.

I answered and set my phone up, "What's up Kenny?" I asked he shook his head. "You coming to school Monday or you can't come to that either?"

I rolled my eyes playfully "Haha very funny." I said picking up a piece of paper. I crumbled it and threw it away.

"I'm serious. You grounded for 3 months?" He asked I looked at him and sat down and sighed.

"3 if I'm good the rest of the year if I keep complaining," I said and he shook his head.

"Marjorine I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hit you. This is my fault you should have just told on me." He said I shook my head taking a sip of my water.

"I wouldn't be able to see you anymore. I'd rather be grounded than that." I said getting up and he sighed.

He then began to play his game while I was cleaning. He started yelling so he took his jacket off. He had on a white I ❤️ sluts T-shirt.

I blushed but soon recovered before he could see me. I quickly finished and then lay down on my bed.

"Hey, Kenny." I said he paused his game and looked at me, "Yea?" He said. "I'm gonna get in the bath real quick," I said and began grabbing some clothes to put on.

He smiled a little, "Yeah okay, I'll talk to you later." He said grabbing his phone I nodded and said bye.

I went to the tub and filled it with hot water. My mom then came in and just stood in the mirror before speaking.

"Yknow Marjorine. I don't think I know you're grounded for next week. Your father will be out of town and he told me nothing of you being ground, so I wouldn't care if you went to see your friends." She said winking.

I smiled and hugged her. "Thanks, mom." She hugged me back and shrugged "What for?" She said winking before leaving.

I got in the tub and soaked for a bit and then got out. I brushed my hair and put my bonnet on and then took my meds and did my eye drops.

I sighed laying down and cutting the light off. I watched tv but before I fell asleep someone called me it was Kenny.

"Hey Kenny, what's up," I said setting my phone up so he could see me.

He was lying down. "I was just calling to say goodnight." I smiled a little "Goodnight Kenny, I can see you tomorrow."

I said and he instantly perked up, "Really? How!" He said looking at me. I smiled "My mom doesn't know I'm grounded but she knows." I said and he nodded.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow at the park?" He said I smiled a nodded "Alright, goodnight Marjorine," he said I smiled back "Night Kenny." I said before we hung up.
