Akira's eyes opened to a familiar scene. Her body ached all over. This was...her bedroom at home.
"Bitch-chan!" Someone grabbed her ankles and raised her legs onto their shoulders.
"Laito..." Akira gazed at her brother, who smiled back suggestively. "My poor Bitch-chan, you must be tired after all you've been through..." he stroked her hair, which Akira didn't protest to. She indeed felt as if she had been run over by a truck, but she knew what Laito wanted. "Just thinking about what those Mukami vampires did to you turns me on so much..." He pressed his warm cheek to her inner thigh. Akira only yawned and allowed him to bite, staving off the sudden pang of hunger in her stomach.
"My, my, Bitch-chan. Your blood has changed..."
Laito kissed the bite and crooned. Akira furrowed her brow.
"What do you mean, changed...?"
"This again. Really, are the both of you so starved of sexual satisfaction?" Snapped Reiji. Akira quickly pulled her legs from Laito's shoulders, but he held them there with a smirk.
Laito groaned, low and deep in his throat. The vibrations travelled up Akira's legs and to her chest, leaving a pleasant feeling. "Bitch-chan's been gone so long; didn't you miss her too? How about joining us, hm?" Laito wiggled his brows suggestively. Akira felt him push up her skirt higher, as if to tempt his older brother.
Reiji exhaled, a sharp hiss of breath, all business. His eyes never dipped to Akira's rucked up skirt, or what Laito was doing under there.
"Get changed and come downstairs. We have much to discuss."
Laito whined. Akira fixed him with an impatient ster and surpised him when she told him, "Hurry up and finish."
Akira took her sweet time brushing her teeth, showering and changing. She knew Reiji was going to drill her for any useful information on the Mukamis. That was his priority. Hers, however, was to check on Yui, whom she had not seen a peep of since her return.
Reiji was already waiting in the living room, sipping tea. He glared at her as she sat down and crossed her legs primly.
"The Mukamis have a plan for the Bride."
"As I am aware. Would it be about an 'Eve' and 'Adam'?"
Akira nodded. Reiji's brow creased. "They took my blood and spoke of the Bride's Awakening."
Reiji sniffed. "At the very least, this plan of theirs will be foiled since you are not the true Bride."Her brother set down his teacup with a flourish and stared at her, sharp and calculating gaze piercing into her soul. He was checking to see if she was hiding anything.
"Is there anything else you would like to say?"
Akira rummaged through her memory. There was something nagging at her. She wanted to tell Reiji, but it simply wouldn't resurface. At her silence, Reiji clicked his tongue. "What were you doing all that time, then? Fooling around?"
