The months flew by quickly with school and work. The boys travel a lot so I am basically always alone. When they are home, we do things together. Both John and Lewis try to make me feel welcome and they succeed. I rarely think about my past and we don't really talk about it. I am getting better at videogames and I managed to teach Lewis how to make a proper toast. Let's just say that it wasn't as easy as it is supposed to be. To be safe, I am doing all the cooking but I don't mind. The kitchen is huge and I learnt tons of new recipes because of Lewis. John doesn't really like the fact that we are often eating vegan but I refuse to cook two different meals. Nothing happened between Lewis and me except for the flirty comments which make my brother very annoyed. We respect the boundary but it is funny to see John going red so we secretly agreed to get on his nerves. It's July so I finished school for now and luckily Toto agreed for me to work full-time throughout the summer break. I have never been to the races in person but I watched every one of them cheering for Lewis in my bedroom. I think I also became addicted to the sport but I keep it a secret from the boys. However, this will change. This weekend is the Silverstone Grand Prix, our home race so there is no chance that I am missing it. I am a little bit nervous because I am not used to all the media attention. The race track is only a twenty-minute drive from our flat so we don't need to stay in a hotel. I only go to the qualifying and the race. I let the boys deal with media on Thursday and the free practices on Friday. On Saturday, I wake up exited and put on a Mercedes-blue dress to show my support to the team.
- Hey, I think I found our biggest fan. – says John as he sees me.
- I think you meant my biggest fan. – says Lewis seductively.
- Still my sister, man.
I laugh at their discussion and sit down to have breakfast. When we are ready, we go to the track. As I am arriving with the boys, there are thousands of fans and journalists circling around us. I stay behind smiling, as I was told to in my compulsory media training, and let Lewis take pictures and sign some things making his fans go crazy.
- Everything okay, sis? – ask John standing beside me. – Let me know if you are feeling uncomfortable.
- Don't worry, I can handle it. – I answer with the 'media-smile' plastered across my face.
After a couple of minutes, we scan our passes and make our way through the paddock to the Mercedes garage. I feel relieved seeing familiar faces. I go around and chat with my co-workers, we talk about winning the race and the celebratory party that we will be having. All of us are positive because the car is great and we have the best drivers. After a while, I sit down near Toto while the boys are getting ready for qualifying. I scroll through my phone when I see a post. There is a picture of me with Lewis' hand on my back as we enter the paddock.
Who is the mysterious brunette arriving with the handsome Brit?
Six-times world champion, Lewis Hamilton was spotted arriving with a pretty young lady for the qualifying. Rumour has it that she is the sister of Hamilton's performance coach, John Black. By the looks of it, there is a possible new WAG in our circles. We are wondering, what is Black's reaction to the romance between his best friend and his sister? Will there be drama? Follow us and we will keep you posted.
This can't be true...
- Is everything okay? – asks Toto seeing my expression. I show him the article.
- Don't worry about it and most importantly, never read the comments. – he says. – It is just a stupid rumour site which lives off creating fake news about the drivers. But I have to ask for PR reasons, is there anything between you and Lewis? I am not judging.
