I was woken up by another nightmare, I checked the time and it was only 3 am, I looked out my window and it was raining heavily

Me:let me just smoke one cigarette I'll be okay

My phone rang and it was Nkanyiso

Nkanyiso:Morning sunshine!
Me:How did you even know that I was awake?

Nkanyiso:I'm your best friend, I already know about your nightmares
Me:I know but it's still creepy

Nkanyiso:So, are they stil intense?
Me:yeah, I'm actually drained

Nkanyiso:don't worry, you'll get through it
Me:yeah I'm sure of it

Nkanyiso:So, are you going to the Mokoena family meeting?

That question caught me off guard, to be honest the Mokoena family meetings are always annoying and draining, my family isn't really a great family

Me:No, of course not
Nkanyiso:you still hate them huh?

Me:You have no idea, I really hate them
Nkanyiso:you really have to sort things out,

Me:As if that will ever happen
Nkanyiso:Anyways, girl I have to go, I have company

I heard a guy chuckle over the phone and I knew she was busy again

Me:Hai Nkanyiso, you're one hell of a player
Nkanyiso:Bye bitch, I love you

She hung up, and I continued to smoke, after a few hours I took a shower and wore my baggy jeans and a pair of Nikeys a puffer jacket, and I just put on my weave, unfortunately I can't take care of my natural hair so a weave is needed

Me:Bruno, your dog care taker will be here in a minute
Me:I looked at myself in the mirror, "Another day another slay"

I drove off with my yellow Porche cause why not? I drove to one of my secret businesses, a strip club, all of the customers seemed happy and that makes my bank balance happy

Me:Zoey, how's the business these days
Zoey:It's going great, we're having special events tomorrow

Me:Good, that means more money, good job
Zoey:thanks boss

Yes the rumors are true, I spend money like no one's business but its my money, not all of it is my parent's money

Boitumelo's pov

I was sitting at one of my cafe's drinking coffee when my dad walked in with my elder brother Thato

Me:Wow, who knew the powerful Lucas Mokoena and his beloved son would pay me a visit
Thato:You really are a disgrace, Boitumelo

Me:Oh, really, atleast I don't go around raping my workers
Dad:Boitumelo!

Me:I'm so sorry dad, I forgot that Thato is actually you're favorite
Dad:Boitumelo, I want say much, all I expect is you to come to the meeting otherwise you know what will happen

They both left, just like that, this family always has to ruin my mood, I called Nkanyiso and drove off

Nkanyiso:What do you want Boity
Me:Let's drink till we drop tonight, when I go to the meeting tomorrow I want to be drunk as fuck

Nkanyiso:I'm in!!!
Me:Great, we're going soon

I got home and changed, when Nkanyiso and I arrived, people kept on taking pics but I'm obviously not bothered by it, we kept on drinking shots after shots

Me:You know Nkanyiso, I never understood why my family never liked me
Nkanyiso:They're all trash, you're the only good one, a diamond

She kissed my cheek and I was happy, I know it's weird, but the only sibling love I got was from Nkanyiso and not those things that are my biological siblings

Me:I love you!!

Me:Let's go, I already feel like trash

Me:thanks God we have an Uber

We drove to my apartment and Bruno jumped on us, we played with him, and Nkanyiso fell asleep in the shower and I fell asleep in the sink, somehow

Me:Please, don't let me get another nightmare
Me:Please, please don't let me sleep alone

I murmured and passed out, the next morning I was woken up by another nightmare, and Nkanyiso was crawling on the floor since she couldn't walk

Me:Babalaza(hangover)?
Nkanyiso:bro, don't even ask, and any nightmares?

Me:Yep, but it was a short one
Nkanyiso:you slept late huh?
