In a playground there stood 3 kids. 2 girls and 1 boy. One of the girls has orange hair with her bangs curling to the side with purple eyes and is wearing a hoodie jacket of some sort with shorts, the other girl has white hair with two buns on the side and red eyes wearing a dress like what other little girls her age wore.
And finally a boy with a hair of a darker shade of pink he wore a t'shirt and shorts, and has jade colored eyes. The boy was currently juggling a football while also doing tricks to show-off to the two girls watching him perform for their amusement as shown on their smiling faces.
Orange haired girl: wow sae-kun!!! That's amazing right chi-chan!!
White haired girl (Chisato): yeah!!! Sae-chan really knows how to do them!!
The boy was still doing tricks while listening to their compliments was smiling but then frowned when he looked at the sun starting to set. so with one last trick he flicked the ball high up before catching it in his hands before looking sadly at his two childhood friends who also looked at him sadly knowing why. kanon more so than chisato with tears starting to form at the corner of her eyes are any indication.
The boy (sae): hey don't be sad we can still stay in contact through letters or messages and even calling, right?
He tries to cheer them up which helped them somewhat.
Chisato: we know but...
She says but pauses as she can't say it with her lips trembling not able to say what is the reason for the sad atmosphere now descending upon the three children while their parents are watching them at the cottages and benches.
Kanon: *sob*sob* i-i-it w-w-won't be the s-same anymore without you actually being here.
She sobs out while trying to wipe away the tears forming with chisato hugging her side
Sae: hey now, don't cry kanon-chan
Kanon: b-but *sob* you'll be so far away from us *sob*
After that sae just looks at the ground saddend knowing it is true. But then thought of something and fetches something from his pockets, while chisato and kanon looked at him in confusion
Chisato: w-what are you doing sae-chan?
Sae: hold on i'm getting something
He then pulls out three necklaces, one has a football, the other has a headset, while the other has a takoyaki symbol for each one. He then shows it to the two and gave kanon the headphone necklace while the takoyaki was given to chisato
Kanon&chisato: whoa~~~
Sae: i am giving these to you guys so that you have something to remember me by. Also it can do this.
He the proceeds to connect the three symbols to show them that they can connect with eachother
Sae: see they connect so when i can return to japan in the future and we see eachother again we can connect them to show tgat we are still the best of friends forever!!!
Their parents smiled at wharlt the little boy said to their daughters as well as giving them a parting gift until they return, and his parents smiling at him for cheering up both of his childhood friends
Both kanon and chisato smiled and hugged sae one last time before they have to go later tonight for their plane to england. And with one last wave of goodbye the two girls went home together with their parents before seperating going to their homes, and rest.
