"Lennox are you sure about this?"

Lennox sighed at Sasha's voice behind her. Her eyes fluttered closed, feeling how thin her patience was, but she kept walking.

"Come on something doesn't feel right, can't we just go back?"

Her friend whined. Lennox suddenly turned around to face her.

You think I want to do this anymore than you do? I know you're scared, but if we don't go back we are going to die is that what you want? You saw what happened to Kaila, if you want the same fate then by all means go back, I don't care!

Is what she thought about saying. It's what she wanted to say. Instead, after her sudden swivel to face her friend, she took a deep breath and spoke calmly.

"I know you don't want to do this. Okay? Neither do I. But you read the note Sasha. We have to go back, or one of us is gonna die. Do you want that?"

Sasha kept quiet. So did Caleb and Skye. When she didn't say anything Lennox nodded slightly.

"Okay. So we go in, we do what we have to do and then we get out. Five minutes, that's all we need."

She turned around and continued walking, knowing they were all looking at each other with concern. When the four of them got to the front door she took a deep breath, feeling the heaviness in her chest as the three of them stopped behind her.

"If something happens between now and that door opening, I'm out of here."

Skye whispered to Caleb. Lennox glanced over her shoulder, clearing her throat and then putting her hand on the handle.

"Five minutes."
