The Byzantine Witch

The Byzantine Empire had its ups and downs but it always managed to stand on its feet

The Byzantine Empire had its ups and downs but it always managed to stand on its feet. Until that fateful night when Constantinople fell at the Ottomans' hands, but not without a fight. Some centuries before that night a woman revealed a prophecy. However, no one believed her. Instead, they accused her of dark witchcraft practice.

She died the same day but in a different century. It is said that her soul still haunts the city's streets. Her gift was now wasted. She is looking for someone free her soul, from her hell, but no one is able to see her. So she vanishes as the night falls.

Unhistorical facts

Keep in mind that this is historical fiction, so not all the facts mentioned here are true. Also during those times, people did unthinkable things to people in the name of God. These were acts of humans, do not let them affect your beliefs. In addition to that you are not allowed are to write hateful comments about religious staff. Keep in mind that we have democracy, everyone is allowed to believe everywhere they want to, but they have no right to impose their religious beliefs on anyone.
