We have walked into the court and i felt YN grab my hand. She was shaking like crazy. I looked down and her and saw her stareing at something. I looked oin the same direction and saw her looking to her familys stand.

There was a woman who looked like a stripper and a man who had a scar running down him face cutting right from his eye to his lip.

Me and YN had just sat down when the judge walked in. She sat down and looked over the room menicingly.

(judge- Judge sarah- JS)

JS- Okay, we are here today dicussing the case of the (LN) family, mrs (MN) (LN), may you please come up to the stand.

Her mother did as told and stood up walked to the start and sat down, slouching. The judge didnt seen impressed by this. Someone from the corner of the room walked over to her and held a bible up to her.

JS- mrs (MN) (LN), do you promise to tell the truth and nothing but the truth.
She placed her hand on the bible really sarcastically rolling her eyes.

MN- Yea i guess whatever.

When the bible was taken away from her YNs lawyer stood over to them and started the questioning.

(YNs lawyer---- L1)

L1- so mrs (LN), is it true that you would leave the home for hours and days, leaving your children alone.#
MN- i mean yea im a busy woman.

L1- okay but you when leaving a 16 year old in charge of a toddler, by herself.
MN- so dramatic, she wasnt alone she had her brother there with her.

L1- ma'am your son would leave the house after you left and go god knows where.
MN- well its not like i could control what he does, hes a adult now. And anyways, its not like she was alone all day her step dad does come home after work.

LN- that leads us to now anyways, where you aware of these bruses on you childs body.

MN- no but im sure she got them from walking into stuff and falling over, shes always been a clumy kid yk.
L1- no ma'am i dont know but if you will look at this one closely you will see that this particular bruse is a hand print wrapped around her neck...

YNs mother looked at a loss for words.

L1- are you okay mrs (LN)
MN-um, y-yea im ok, how did she get those!

L1- well thats what were trying to find out.

Next yns step dad was brought up to the stand.

JS- do you MR (SD) (LN), promise to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth.

(step dad---- SD)

SD- um yea.
JS- okay you may start.

Once again yns lawyer stood up and questioned her stepdad.

L1- so mr (LN), where you aware of the bruseing on this childs body.
SD- nope

L1- okay

the lawyer looks down at her stepdads hands and sees they are covered in bruses and scratch marks.

L1- okay nexr one, what happened to your hands, there covered in scratch marks and bruses.
SD- idk
L1- oh i think you do sir, you see, your step child comes to the hospital with hand print brusing on her neck and now you have sucffed up hands,
SD- i have no idea what you are implying here

L1- the brusing on your hand shows a sort of struggle made by someone else, as if you where choking miss (LN) and she was struggling to get your hands off of her throat.
SD- *silence*
