Smart people were few and far between a lot of the time and modern society didn't make it a secret. People who had more knowledge about different things could be dangerous sometimes, because they cold reveal company secrets and damage the reputation for decades to come. So everyone was best advised to not have them as an enemy any time soon.
Newcomer Y/N L/N was currently in the ring at NXT to start the episode and for a young gun in the business, he had a lot on his mind. Not a single person in the crowd knew what to make of him, until he broke the silence.
Y/N:" Ladies and Gentlemen, may I have your attention for a few minutes? Thank you...Throughout the last two years, I noticed a bit of a trend. It seems like I attract a lot of trouble, because people can't handle my intellect...It's alarming in my opinion. What todays' media does with us is insane. We are being lied to, we are being pushed aside. And I know for a fact that we are being used, not for justice, but for profit!"

Most of the crowd was actually listening as Y/N explained the situation and his personal view on certain things, all without getting too political about it. Yes, this was important, but it was also filler for a bit since the start of the show was supposed to hype everyone up. Y/N tried his best to win everyone over, but he was interrupted by Tony D'Angelo who made his way to the ring.

The mob boss interacted more with zhe crowd than to pay attention to Y/N who watched Tony. What could this interruption honestly be about? And why on earth did it happen now? With Tony climbing into the ring and getting a mic, everyone would hear his reasoning right now.
Tony:" Y/N, let me be the first person to welcome you to NXT."
Y/N:" I appreciate that, but Mr. D'Angelo, what made you come out here?"
Tony:" First off: it's good you called me Mister or we would have a problem. Second: I came out, because I didn't like what you said. Money is the root of all evil? Young man, you probably have never been in control of anything before. Money...can get you a lot of things."
Y/N:" But money alone doesn't make you happy."
Tony:" Let me ask you: are you blind? Y/N, money is a powerful tool. So is loyalty. I have people who work with me because they want to, they don't work for me because they have to or anything."
