"Katie! Wake up!" You whined, trying to get your girlfriend to wake up. Today was a beautiful summer morning and Katie had promised to go on a walk with you. "Y/n, let me sleep..." "No! I know usually you wake up early, but come on!" Since Katie didn't even try to get out of the bed, you decided to get Callie. The grey kitten was found quickly and you somehow convinced her to come with you. Now you and Callie sat down beside Katie, and while you tried to get your share of morningly kisses, Callie jumped around on the bed, meowing loudly. "What the.. can you two shut up?" Katie asked, but she ended up being shut up by you. You kissed her, demanding entrance in her mouth. She let you, pulling you into a sitting position and cuddling you like this. "Much better." You grinned and Katie could only smile.

"You know you get on my nerves sometimes, right N/n?" You grinned, and nodded. You were fully aware of this fact and you slowly pulled Katie out of bed. "I will make breakfast today. You go get ready, we wanted to go to the beach!" your girlfriend sighed but somehow got out of bed. While she picked her outfit for today, you made breakfast. Callie followed you around the house, even climbing up to your shoulders. You made a simple breakfast, and cranked up the air conditioning even higher. It was barely nine am but the sun was already doing a great job. The temperature outside was 28 degree in the shadow, and no clouds in sight. "Did Ryder answer your message, honey?" Katie asked, and you jumped a little. "Gosh you scared me! But yes, he did. He said we'll be meeting at noon at the beach." "Okay. Callie! Get down from the table!" You laughed as Katie picked up the grey cat and put it on the ground.

After having breakfast Katie and you packed a bag for the beach. You two had promised Ryder to bring snacks after all. "Will you comb the beach for seashells?" "That was my plan N/n. We can make a necklace out of these after we have collected enough." „Yes!" you squeaked, and Katie chuckled. When it was time, you and her met Ryder at the beach. „Hello ladies. How is it going?" he smiled at you and your girlfriend. You smiled back. Ryder was always supportive of you and your sexuality. „Going good. How about you and Akira?" „Well..." Ryder blushed, and looked away from you. „Stop embarrassing Ryder!" Katie exclaimed but you shut her up with a kiss. „I love you too Katie." your grin melted Katie's heart. „You know I cannot stay mad at those eyes." She said and pulled you in for a hug. „Where is Akira?" „Period. I told her I won't be gone for long..." „Oh shit..." You and Katie said, as you both know exactly what that meant. „I better get going huh?" „you better do!" You said but Ryder was already on his ATV and drove back to the lookout.

„Do you think he'll survive?" „Honestly... I do not know." Katie shrugged and kissed you again. „Right now I am glad that I can just hold you like this." She said, stroking your h/c hair. „I love you N/n..." „I love you too Kat."
