Inventing and halloween

Willows pov

I went and sat on Elliot's bed observing ET while the boys were in the garage and Gerty's taking a shower.

I watched him as he was looking at one of Gerty's toy's.

Gerty came back into her room with mom and I went in my room and changed.
I changed into my Star Wars Jammie's and sat in the closet.

I didn't feel all that alone anymore, since I bonded with ET.
He didn't make me feel alone or sad and I actually started talking to him when the others weren't around.

But I knew it would have to come to an end at some point, because an hour later Mike walked into the closet and threw his shirt in the hamper.
He said that ET's working on building something.

Me and Elliot guessed that he was going to try and make contact with his people.

It was finally Halloween night and I decided to participate this year and dress up as my own made up Jedi charecter from Star Wars.

I wore these.

And Mike put some braids in my hair for me.

I didn't want to take my picture so I helped gerty sneak out of the house.

They had a plan to Dress ET up as a ghost and make mom think it was Gertie so Elliot could sneak him into the forest to put together their machine.

While they did that Gertie was going to go trick or treating as a cowgirl, while Mike and I just followed her.

We got to the meet up spot and after about twenty five minutes the boys showed up and they put ET in the basket in the front of Elliot's bike.
  Once they were out of sight I hopped on Mikes back and we followed Gertie around waiting for Elliot to come back.

' Mikey.' I said, I've always called him that when I decided to speak ' moms going to get mad at us it's almost sunset.'

Gertie looked at me funny ' Wait! You speak now.'

Mike sighed and shook his head ' I know and I have no idea where he is.'

' We should head home and wait for him there so we don't get in trouble.' Gertie suggested.

' too late.' I said seeing mom drive up behind us.

Gertie hopped in the front seat and I got in the back and leaned on Mike, I was kinda chilly.
  Mom drove around for a bit to look for Elliot, and I fell asleep in the back seat.

Mike's POV

Mom finally decided to drive home and wait for him to come home. She said if he's not home by morning she'll call the police.
  As soon as we pulled into the garage Willow woke up.

She's always been a light sleeper.

I sat in the living room on the couch while the girls were getting dressed, and mom started chewing me out for tonight.
 
' How could you lose your brother like that.' She fumed trying to stay calm as she grabbed a beer.

' It wasn't my fault I took the girls over to Ms. Tara's house and Elliot saw some of his friends talking two houses down I didn't think he would run off I'm sorry.' I lied.

' It's fine I just... Just go to bed we'll figure this out in the morning.'

I went upstairs and saw Willow laying in her bed crying.
I walked over and sat next to her.

' what's wrong Willow.' I asked rubbing her back.

She sat up a little bit.

' Elliot disappeared and you got in trouble.' She cried.

I wrapped her up in a hug, ' Hey, don't worry about me mom wasn't too mad, and I'm sure Elliot's fine but I know your not just worried about him.'

' Ok I'm worried about ET too but I mean he's Great when he's not scary.' She says.

' I know, but lay down and get some sleep they might just be back home before you wake up in the morning.' I say and stand up.

'No!' She grabs my hoodie. ' can you stay with me tonight.'

I nod and she pulls the blankets to the side.

I lay down and pull the blankets over both of us, and she snuggles her head in my chest.

I hope Elliot and ET are ok, I wonder as I fall asleep.
