Back to normal.

Reece's P.O.V

It was three days since everything went wrong. Each day I would be at the hospital to how Millie was doing. Nothing had changed, she still lay in the room. Fans had been asking where she was and what was going on but I couldn't bring myself to tell them what had actually happened. But I knew that I would have to tell them eventually, so I decided to let everyone know.

'Hi guys, I know u all wanted to know whats happened to Millie. Unfortunately she was hit by a car a few days ago and is in hospital. Hopefully soon she will wake up but for now that is all I know-Reece x'

I then sent out another tweet a few minutes later...

'Please be supportive like you always have been, its horrible to see her like this. I wont be tweeting or on any social media for a while, I hope you understand-Reece x'

After I had tweeted those on my account, I retweeted them both on the band account and all the boys retweeted them too. All the fans were being so lovely, wishing her well soon. I just hope that things get better soon.

Today me and the boys had interviews and different things. I knew I wouldn't be able to concentrate properly. We arrived at a radio station, ready to the interview. I didn't say a word, all I could think about was Millie. "You ready Reece?" Barclay asked me. I looked up at everyone, regretting my choice of coming with the boys.

I knew I wouldn't be able to cope too long without breaking down in the interview. It wasn't fair on the boys or the interviewers and they would also start asking questions and I wasn't in the mood right now. "Boys, I'm sorry. I thought I could do this but I can't." I apologised. "Its alright mate. If the people ask what's wrong, we'll just tell them that you're not feeling to good." Jake smiled. I nodded, murmuring a thank you. "Shall we meet you at the hospital?" Tom asked. "If you want to." I simply said. "We'll be as quick as we can." Charlie explained.

I nodded before leaving the studio and getting Rik (Charlies dad) to drop me off at the hospital quick. Once we arrived, I said a quick thanks to Rik and ran inside to where Millie was, I looked up to the tv screen outside in the corridor to see that a music channel was playing Love Me So. I smiled before I quietly opened the door and went in to sit by Millie. Every night since the accident, I've stayed by her side. Barely sleeping, but as long as I was with Millie, everything was ok.

A few hours later, the boys arrived. They sat outside the room, as I held onto Millies hand. I sat with my head held low, when I felt Millies hand move. I instantly looked up and focused my attention our hands. "Millie? Can you hear me?" I asked. She moved her hand again and her eyes started to flicker.

Millies P.O.V

I felt someone holding onto my hand, I tried to open my eyes but it wouldn't work. Instead I moved my hand and heard a northern accent, Reece's voice. "Millie? Can you hear me?" He asked, but I couldn't open my mouth to talk. Again, I moved my hand and my eyes started to open. I looked around the room, it was bright and smelt like a hospital. Why was I in hospital? But then I remembered.

The argument, Reece accusing me of cheating on him, me walking out and me getting run over. "Millie! Tom get the doctor, Millie's awake." Reece shouted. "Reece, I've got a headache." I said, trying to get up. "Sorry, be careful." Reece said, helping me get up in bed. "Are you alright Millie?" The doctor asked as he came into the room. "Yeah, I think so. I've got a really bad headache and my leg is killing me." I admit. "Well, we've done all the necessary scans and there's no major other than the fact that you've broken your leg and your ankle. It's normal to have a headache but other than that you were very lucky." The doctor explains.

I sighed, knowing it could have been a lot worse. "We obviously have to put a cast on which you should have on for 4 weeks and then your leg and ankle should be as could as new." The doctor smiled. "Ok, when do I get to go home?" I asked. "We would like to keep an eye on you for tonight but you are free to go in the morning." The doctor stated. "Really? Thank you." I said, in shock.

 

"Your welcome, would you like me to bring the rest of your friends and family in so you can tell them the good news?" He asked. "Yes please." I smiled. The doctor nodded and smiled before walking out to let the rest of the boys and my mum, dad, brother, Ella, Reece's and Charlie's Parents and little Lexi in to see me...which didn't make my headache any better with Charlie's dad the king of banter and Tom making jokes as usual...it was great to be back to normal.
