“You shouldn't do that Hana. Look at your cheek now! It's pretty obvious that someone hit you!” Jaeyun babbling non-stop as Hana compressing her cheek.

“Jake, I'm fine!” Hana frustratedly talked back to her brother.

“Yes, Jaeyun. She's fine, it will recover soon. Think about it, if it was you who got slapped just now people will think you just broke someone's daughter heart. Hana can cover it with foundation.” this time Hyejin talking.

Jaeyun took a seat on the couch right in front of Hana. After the incident, Hyejin drove them back to Jaeyun's penthouse and bring Hana along with them. He looks so worried right now.

Of course he is. The one who should got hit by their mom was him and not Hana.

“I will stay here for a few weeks. Your penthouse look so spacious, big bro.” Hana said and Jaeyun heavily sighed.

After that, Hyejin excused herself because she needs to go home. Her parents called her and want her to prepare for the formal party tonight. They already set up the party at some hotel and Hyejin needs to checking in.

Since Hyejin already gave Jaeyun the invitation card so she sent him the location. The reason why her parents weren't home this few days because they need to discuss something and prepare for the formal party.

Right now, Hyejin stared at her own reflection in the mirror. She already put on a makeup that match with her strapless red burgundy dress and let down her hair covered her shoulder.

Suddenly, someone call her and Hyejin took her phone. It's Jaeyun.

“Hello, Jaeyun?”

“Hyejin? I already arrived at hotel. Should I show the invitation card to the guard?”

Hyejin chuckled, “yes, Mr Jake. Just say your name and your company they will let you go inside.”

“Alright, I'm just asking. Anyways, I end the call first because my friend already call me. See you at the party.”

“See you too, Jaeyun.”

Hyejin put down her phone can't believe that Jaeyun's friend is coming to the same event. She just shrugged it off, keeping her phone inside a small clutch before she wore a pair of white heels.

The formal party finally started. Jaeyun stood at the corner of the room along with his best friend, Ethan Lee. Back then in Australia, they study in the same course and build a company together.

They always got each other's back. Jaeyun will support Ethan and Ethan will support Jaeyun too.

“I don't know that you will be at this event tonight. What is your relationship with Park Family?” Ethan asked while looking around the hall.

“Me too, Ethan. Actually, his daughter is one of my school friend. Since we live in the same neighborhood, she invited me to this formal party.” Jaeyun answered.

He sipped the champagne meanwhile his eyes roaming around the room. He saw so many familiar face. Politician, Business Man, and some wealthy people. He was amazed when he realised how well known Hyejin's family is.

Speaking about Hyejin, she finally arrived at the hall with her dad holding each other hand. She gave a sweet smile as she greeted some of the guests and have a little talk.

Jaeyun can't take his eyes off Hyejin. She looks so beautiful in that dress. The dress perfectly fit on her body. Red and burgundy really match with her honey skin tone.

Those simple jewelry around her neck, those dark hair covered her shoulder and the makeup that she put on can't compare to anything in Jaeyun's eyes.

His eyes fixed on her reddish lips. Oh, how he wish he could leave a few peck on her lips. Jaeyun look down for a moment to licked his own lips. The naughty thought of kissing Hyejin appears on his mind.

She looks so beautiful yet hot in that dress.

Wish I can hold her closer.

“Welcome to my friends, business partner and some of my daughter's friends! My wife and I are so excited to celebrate this day and we have decided to do a formal party for our daughter. She just come back from United States after 5 years! I hope all of you can enjoy the night!”

Ethan whispered something into Jaeyun's ear, “don't you think his daughter is so hot in those red burgundy dress?”

“Yes, she is.”

But, she doesn't need those dress to look hot.

She, herself already hot.

“I want to court her.” Ethan added and Jaeyun softly chuckled.

“It's not that easy, Ethan. Trust me.”

Because she's mine.
