It was around 9 'o' clock when Caleb and Skye fell asleep on the couch, and after an hour or so of flipping Jay's card in and out of her fingers, Lennox decided to text him to meet her at the apartment, saying that the door would be unlocked in the message. Arriving before him, she spent half an hour pacing back and forth, second guessing what she was about to disclose before he showed up. He opened the door slowly after walking up to the front of the building. In Lennox's message, she'd forgot to mention her name, so Jay was in the dark about the anonymous text message he'd received. He entered quietly, hand on hip ready to draw his weapon if need be, but his posture visibly relaxed when he recognised Lennox sat in the armchair in the dimly lit room.
"Lennox?"
"Hey." She watched him look around before frowning at her.
"You texted me?"
"Yeah. Is that okay?" Her eyes scanned him as he nodded.
"Yeah, of course." He looked around the room, frowning at her after a few seconds. "How'd you get in here?"
"Don't worry, I didn't break in. This is my place, with Caleb and Skye. Sasha too."
"Right. I heard your dad let you guys move in together. It's nice. Cleaner than I thought it would be." He stepped forward as she rolled her eyes and sat up.
He shrugged at her eyeroll. "What? I've seen a lot of messy teenagers." He defended.
"Don't make me regret texting you." She cocked an eyebrow at him, and he stopped about two metres in front of her.
"Why did you text me? Is everything alright?"
"Yeah, I just...you said if I needed to talk."
"Yeah, I meant it. Is that why you asked me here? You have something to tell me about Sasha's death?"
"No. Yes, I don't..." She trailed off, sighing as he perched himself on the coffee table in front of her.
"Lennox whatever it is, I can help you."
"No you don't...understand. I wanted to talk to you here, in private. I can't do this anymore. You and Officer Paul were right, okay? There's a reason Caleb and Skye's stories were the same, but we didn't discuss them first. We fought, Caleb and I. He wanted to come clean, about what happened to Sasha, what happened to Kaila."
