❀— OUR SONG —❀
ACT I             CHAPTER II
( a bouquet of whoopsie daisies )

"NICE TRY SON!" Anastasia heard a loud male voice speak, huffing and puffing — seemingly out of breath. Her peaceful walk through Central Park had seemed to become more chaotic than intended.

A harsh body was pushed against her own, slamming her bouquet of flowers into her chest — the daisies hiding in her navy top. "God, can people watch where they're going!" Anastasia threw her hands up, but a laugh was echoed in reply. She hastily looked up from brushing the flowers off her attire, and was met with none other than Nate Archibald and his father. "Sorry Anna. Nathaniel you need to watch where you're going son." Howard amusingly laughed, patting his son's back.

"Nate remember what I told you. I'll leave you two. See you Anastasia." The older man waved to the girl, leaving his son and Anastasia alone. "Who are the flowers for?" Nate pried, he had seemed to be nosier than usual. "Blair. Things have been...awkward." She spoke quickly. "Gotta get a new bouquet, though." The brunette shrugged, looking at the state of the flowers she had bought less than ten minutes ago. "I'll go with you." Nate insisted. "No it's fine you don't have to." Anastasia reassured him. "I ruined them, of course I do." The brown eyed girl rolled her eyes, turning on her heels to return to the flower shop.

"Have you talked to her yet?" Anastasia queried, referring to Blair. The Archibald boy shook his head, continuing to admire the flowers in front of them. "Maybe you should give her these instead of me." The girl shoved the newly-purchased bouquet into her friends hands. "No, I'll find another way to apologise." Nate insisted, gently handing the daisies back to Anastasia. Nate, in fact, had no idea how he'd apologise — and quite frankly had no idea if he really wanted to. "Here." The girl reached into her purse, pulling out some cash — repaying the boy.

"Again, it's all fine. I'm doing you a favour A." Nate nodded, pushing her hand away from him.

Spotted, Nate Archibald handing, A some flowers? B will definitely want an explanation now!

Kiss on the Lips was just tonight and Anastasia was torn on whether she'd wear her sparkly green dress with a bow at the back or her pink, timeless, satin dress.

Dan Humpfrey felt Serena's phone buzz in his hand, just as he was handing it back to the girl. "Uh, nice to meet you Mrs Van Der Woodsen. I'm Dan Humphrey." The boy motioned towards himself. "What are you and Dan Humphrey doing?" Lily pursed, turning to her daughter. "We..." Serena immediately turned to the boy opposite her for help. "Uh, we're going to a concert tonight." Dan pulled out a red, folded poster from his pocket — displaying it for Lily to see. "Lincoln Halk?" She read. "Yeah, Rolling Stone named them one of the top ten forgotten bands of the '90s."

"Whoo! I'm a huge fan." Serena beamed, waving her hands up in the air. Lily on the other hand, seemed unfazed — as per. "Well this party would've been the perfect opportunity for you to announce your return, but I guess I'll just, uh, keep the dress for myself." Lily Van Der Woodsen walked off, "You'll miss Anastasia, too." She tried to reason.
