The head of security for the hospital grounds was sat there in front of the camera screens, supposedly on his ass, sipping a fresh cup of coffee from the coffee shop a couple blocks over from the hospital.

"I need to see the security tapes." Jay demanded.

"And I need a holiday, who the hell are you?" The security guard scowled, looking Jay up and down, still in his chair, as Jay pushed passed him to see the footage.

He pulled out his badge, at which point the guard straightened in his seat as Jay spoke.

"We have a patient missing, I think that's a bit more important than your holiday."

"Of course, yes Sir."

"Ward 8, room 256, I need to see the footage from this morning."

Following Jay's instruction, the guard pulled up the security footage from Lennox's room and the hallway, and after setting the video to fast forward he watched the last few hours in just a few seconds. Lennox was in her room before Jay went to get some sleep, so he played the footage from 3pm forward. Once the camera hit five 'o' clock, Lennox's nurse went in to take off the empty bag of fluids from the hook by Lennox's bed, and after watching the nurse leave the room she ripped the canula from her arm, holding pressure for a few seconds before getting dressed.

"Play it." Jay instructed.

The guard played the clip at normal speed. Skye walked into the room right after Lennox zipped up her jacket, looking around as she shut the door behind her.

"Are you sure about this Len? What about your dad? Or Jay?"

"Jay will be fine. Remember what we agreed on?"

"If you're not back by midnight, tell Jay what's going on."

"Right. I'll be fine Skye."

"I know I just...you don't have to go alone. Why don't you ask Caleb-"

"I'm not asking Caleb. And I'm not asking you. I can't lose anyone else. I know you're scared okay? But I'm the reason we're in this mess, I have to be the one to stop it, for you guys. I'll be back soon, I promise."
