I was sleeping peacefully in one of the beds in the butterfly mansion. I had been residing there for about two days after getting seriously injured in battle. The same battle that caused me to break my sword.

Well, I was sleeping peacefully until...........

       "WHERE IS THAT LITTLE RAT!!!!!"

I quickly sat up. I knew exactly who that was but I couldn't run away this time my leg is broken. God, I'm screwed I could hear Aoi trying to calm him but he wasn't listening and I could hear him getting closer.

Hotaru swings the door open "AHHH ILL TEACH YOU TO NEVER BREAK A SWOR-" When he sees me he stops in his tracks

"Ah hey Hotaru what brings you here," I said In a hoarse voice now that I think of it I haven't spoken in a while. An awkward silence fell over us...

I cleared my throat and was about to say something "Uh sorry I didn't realize you were this injured." He said in a blunt tone "mmhmm" I looked at him with an owo face "sooo what do you need?" I knew exactly what he needed but I just wanted to make conversation.

He walked over to me and stood at the side of my bed. "I brought your sword." as he said that he leaned something against the wall. "thanks I've missed x." For some reason the first time I got my sword I named it with Hotaru well less of him more of me naming it. "technically x has been gone for a while," he said stepping away from me "hey remind me how I broke my first sword," I said smiling at him "ugh I don't have time to talk to you." he said turning around "hey I haven't seen you in like a month maybe be a little nicer."

"No," he said walking out of the room

"Awww man I'm going to be really bored for the next couple of weeks."

          Time skip - The next morning

I awoke to someone placing a hand on my forehead. I slowly opened my eyes "Oh good morning y/n how are you feeling." Aoi said with her hand still on my forehead "I'm feeling better just a little hungry hehe." I sat up and threw the blanket off me.

"w-what are you doing you shouldn't get up." Aoi placed a hand on my shoulder "I really need to move around I'm sorry." I sighed looking at my hands "Your leg is broken y/n. I would feel better if you stayed put." Aoi had an extremely worried look. "I'll be fine I'm just going to the dining ro-" I heard someone stir in the bed behind me.

"COULD YOU TWO SHIT HEADS SHUT UP!!!"
