Hie There

Well here we are , my first sort of blog entry. And i have no idea what I am going to write about. As much as I would love to dive right into everything that's going on in my life right now , I'd like to think that's a bit too much for an introductory chapter or entry . Not sure what I'm gonna call these yet. 

Any way lets just dive in .

Have you ever felt like your falling behind , but its worth it 'cause the end result is better than the current situation? Well that's how I've been feeling these days and I know people say to always keep your mind on the positive or on the light at the end of the tunnel , but I don't think its that easy. I mean take Peter for example his light was Jesus holding his hand as they walked on water , but he got so distracted by everything that was going on around him that  he lost sight of what was important. And personally I don't wan to be like that I want to keep my eyes on the prize God has in store for me as he holds my hand through the storm. 

Sometimes I don't though sometimes I get swallowed by the voices in my head and the opinions of all the people around me and at times it feels like too much and I can understand how Peter started drowning. In the Bible Apostle Paul  says to cast all fears and anxieties on the Lord and go to Him in prayer and thanksgiving to make any requests we want . easy peasy right ? Nope  , its easier said than done , at times I feel like there's no use praying , really. I get so overwhelmed and consumed that I feel like my prayer wont make a difference. 

That's a very toxic mindset to have though 'cause if you don't pray for yourself , if don't make your requests known to the Lord who will. In this day and age of life you need more than just your mother or father or anyone else's faith to get you through. Cause their faith in the the things God will do for you will never be as strong as yours . God showed you the finish line of your race, don't have other people who aren't as committed as you run the race for you cause unlike you they have nothing to lose.
