As soon as your hands gripped the handle of the door, an unexpected thought occured.

"Can I drive?", you asked Hoseok who was about to take the charge of the driving seat. Unexpected because you like to be someone called the "passenger princess", he once called you that, just once and you took this nickname way too seriously.

"You? No it's okay.", He replied while entering the car. You could still see uncertainty in his eyes, as if he himself wanted to turn back right now. As if he himself wanted to stop the time.

Both of you sat down but you still were unsure of the place you sat.
"Hoseok please, I want to.", you said, didn't know why you insisted so much.

Hoseok gave you a look of uncertainty but the eagerness in your eyes melted him, "Okay sure. I don't wanna drive today anyway...", he emphasised the word today, his tone slightly frustrating.

You sat at the driver's seat and held the stearing wheel tightly. You will drive, the last time with Hoseok. After signing the papers, you both will just be two mere enemies, fighting for your daughter's coustady with a desperation in your eyes to go back im time to the moment you got married.

The vehicle drove along the busy city road, everyone vividly busy with whatever turns their lives are taking. Two of you amongst those everyone, trying every possible way to not take that turn but maybe fate is stronger than love?

Midway between you destination, Hoseok asked you to stop the car near your old house. A house full of memories, some good, some bad, some unforgettable.

"Why? Do you need something? But we shifted everything here.", you asked while your eyes carefully observed the road.

"No just something from near. I'll be quick.", he replied looking willingly at you. You could feel that gaze. At least it'll give you one more minute together.

"Okay."

You parked the car in front of your old house. Hoseok went to wherever he wanted, he didn't told, you didn't asked.

Your home, it wasn't the same, nothing was. A new family came here. They changed everything, everything you and Hoseok cherished since all those times, since the day you came here till the day it all got...ruined, ruined as if it never existed. All because of him.

"Well I guess, it was temporary. Still the happiest memory of mine, and the saddest too.", you sighed.

Hoseok went to your favourite café where you both frequently go to spend some free time. Their donuts were your all time favourite. Apricot donuts. While living here, you had them almost every day.

Hoseok went to the counter and an old lady greeted him. The shop was still the same, not a bit changed and it better won't. The wooden benches, the hanging flower pots, the nose tingling smell of vanilla and chocolate, all smelled like a memory.

"Hoseok! Where were you? I was missing you both so much! Where's Y/n? I would love to see her.", she was genuinely happy to see him.

He greeted her back and replied."We shifted to a new place and I changed my job. I missed you too.", he proposed a smile.

"But where's Y/n?", her eyes were looking for you.

"She's...We are separating. She's in the car.", he looked down.

"What? But you both were-"

"I'd like to have six apricot donuts please.", Hoseok cut her off, not wanting to answer.

"Okay. Please wait a bit.", she went inside with a sad grin over her face.

The lady came back with the box of donuts and placed it on the counter.
