"Leave him."The bodyguard immediate let go and stepped back to guard the door.
Carlos bend down to examine the bleeding man in front of him and ignored the unpleasant smell of shameless sex and cheap alcohol invading his nostrils. Music was blaring outside the cramp room, and the Led lights inside, created a somewhat dangerous effect even though they were intended for another purpose.
He stared deeply into the man's eyes and smiled as pressed the knife into his arm."Lets try this again. Where is Gabriel."
A painful grunt escaped the man as he spat out,"Fuck you." He screamed with wide eyes as the knives got daggered deeper into his skin. Carlos placed his gloved hand onto the man's mouth to cover up the scream.
"Stubborn aren't you?," Carlos muttered in annoyance and removed his hand. This man was making his job a lot harder and his patience is running very thin. "Tell me where he is."
"I'm telling you nothing," the man seethed, exhaling hard from the unbearable pain.
Carlos sighed, "Vamos hand me my gun."
With that said, his bodyguard walked over to Carlos and obediently handed over the gun. Sweat was pouring from the man's bloody face now.
"I'll only ask you one more time: Where did Vamos run off to?," Carlos question with a threatingly deeper and louder voice this time. He cocked his gun and placed it to the man's head.
"I d-dont know," the man stuttered in fear and winced when Carlos slapped him a crossed the face with the gun. "Ow fuck! I don't know."
Carlos gave the man a pissed expression and stood up, ready the shoot to the man. "Fine."
"Wait!," the man yelled and covered his face with his hands. "He's at his private island!"
A glanced from Vamos was shot at Carlos way, signaling that they got him where they wanted him.
"What island," Carlos said and dropped his gun.
"He knows you're looking for hi-."
"What island?," he repeated sternly and watched the man gulp.
The man breathed out loud leaned his head against the wall. "Lanai. Please don't tell my bos-"
Carlo cocked his head to the door. They didn't bother to hear what the man had to say and was already making their way out the trashed house, pleased that they got what the wanted.
Mission completed.

Carlos sat on the leather chair and stared at his father." We're going to have a family meeting, not a fashion show," he said blankly, as his father showcased numerous types of suits in front of him.
"Don't be stupid child. One must always look good," Derrick his father, said, adjusting his black tie as he gazed into the mirror. "And since we know about Vamos location, everything will run smoothly from now on.*
Carlos nodded his head at his father and rubbed his strained eyes." Any idea what we are going to do with him. "
"Probably kill him but we'll discuss that over dinner with the family," his father said and glanced his way with a smile. "And you will be there."
"Do I have to?," he rolled his eyes. Family dinners was never his thing.
Derrick thinned his lips at his son. "Yes, It's important that my son attend such matters."
"God you're annoying."
"I'd love to be God," his father snickered and sat down. "Now off you go. I have things to do."
Carlos restrained himself from rolling his eyes and walked out of his dad's office, making his way to his room.
How did his life end up like this.
He couldn't even remember the last time he had a day to himself. Everything has changed the moment he turned eighteen.
And no, they are far from a mob. The way they handle transactions and deals might just be different from other companies but they're certainly associated with the mafia.
He entered his room and slowly sat back on his bed. His back was strained from all the running and fighting from this morning. Hunting down people took more effort than he expected.
As dinner time approached, Carlos and his stepped out of the car, leisurely walking to the huge door front doors of the family mansion.
"And at least try to look interested," his dad said to him as they entered the mansion. A butler came forth and took their coats.
Carlos frowned. "I always look interested."
"Right," he father retorted rather dryly.
"Derrick!"
Oh God no. Carlos cringed at a the high pitch voice. His eyes immediately swerved towards his father who was smiling brightly. The sight was very disturbing.
"Amanda! What a pleasant suprise. I thought you were still in Vegas," his dad said as she neared him, her heels making clicking sounds.
She kissed him on both cheeks then spoke, "Well you know me. Can't stay away from home too long." Her eyes drifted to Carlos. "Carlos darling. You're even more handsome than the last time I saw you."
"That was two weeks ago," he said blankly, earning a squinted glare from his dad.
Amanda clasped her hands together. "You and your sarcasm. Just like your father."
Carlos rolled his eyes. He was nothing like his father.
"Your phone sir."
Startled, Carlos turned around and stared at Vamos with his phone in hand.
Vamos cleared his throat. "You forgot it in the car," he said handing it over.
Carlos reached out and took it, eyeing his bodyguard. It's been a month since he was assigned a bodyguard despite his protests. His dad was pretty adamant so to shut his father up, he gave into his whining.
Carlos didn't complain though. Vamos was silent during travels and did as he was told. He liked that.
"Thank you," he said and watched Vamos bow before quietly standing aside. He reminded him so much of a vampire. Silent but deadly.
"Carlos come on now. Dinner is starting."
Carlos spotted his father and Amanda way ahead of him. He didn't even notice them leaving his side. He strode over and followed them into the dining room, where the feast of guns and roses officially begins.
