Sourbelt's Birthday Interview

Today, we have a young man called Sourbelt. He's here to tell us a bit aboit his life and experiences!

So... First question, let's start easy. Name, age, pronouns?

"Hi! I'm Sourbelt, I just turned twenty and I use He/Him pronouns"

As you said, you just turned twenty. Today's your birthday, isn't it?

"Yes, it is, Haha! My birthday is June 5th"

Do you mind telling us a bit about your family? Parents, siblings?

"I live at home with my two younger siblings - Kyd and Pineapple. Kyd was 'adopted' sometime last year, while 'apple is my biological brother. I also have my boyfriend, Leif, who regularly comes over to visit"

You seem to use the term 'adopted' lightly, can you tell us why?

"Well... Kyd was really legally adopted. It's eighteen now, too, so i cant technically adopt it even if I wanted to. It is under my custody, though"

How was Kyd brought into your family then?

"Honestly... Long story. I met Kyd at the skatepark near my flat. It never actually skated, just sat and watched people. I started talking to it and found out its parents passed in an accident so I offered to let it stay with me for a while. Kyd was around sixteen or seventeen at the time? Anyway... Kyd has been staying with us for a while so it's like a sibling to me in a weird way... "

That was certainly kind of you! What about your other brother, Pineapple? How is he?

" Ah- Pineapple is a good kid. They've been very... Shy? No- Timid, these last two or so years. We lost our parents in an accident when I was eighteen, you see, and it was really hard on him; He was only nine at the time. But... He's been doing better over the past little while"

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that. Well... How abour this boyfriend you mentioned? What was his name, how did you meet?

"Leif! Ohh, Leif. He's an amazing guy. We met on the Skatepark when we were in Highschool. He was a year or so above me, but we went to different schools. He has a side-job were he teaches kids how to skate, I met him during one of those classes when a kid nearly crashed into me! Haha. He was very sweet about it, used it as a lesson to always be paying attention and to not distract others"

He sounds like a nice guy! How long have you been dating?

"Oh... About three years now? He asked me out right after he graduated high school because he thought he was going abroad for college. He ended up staying and going to college more locally, though. Thankfully... He's a really great, kind man. Pineapple absolutely loves him!"

Aww... Its great to hear he gets along well with your brothers. Can you tell me a bit about your work, or school?

"I work in a Bowling Alley! It's a really fun place to work, although a little irratating at times... I stopped my education right after highschool so that I could spend more time raising 'apple and looking after Kyd. Although, I really want to attend an engineering or programming school so... Maybe in the future?"
