Background:A daughter of an old Samurai family. Growing up she managed to learn about the old traditions of the honor and codes they lived by. As well as picking up some of the sword techniques from her brother before he became too ill. Shortly after her brother started to become fsr too ill to do much of anything let alone move, they were attacked by a demon. Giyuu Tomioka was dispatched nearby and saved her form the demon. He then offered to train her. Created her own breath that she got the idea from within a dream where she'd met an odd man. A few years after training started she was off to final selection.
