Ringo and Sydney were at the beach. They decided to go because it was so warm outside. Plus, Sydney could never pass up seeing her boyfriend in a bathing suit.
Sydney was lying on a towel, sunbathing and reading a book. Her sunglasses were very helpful to her, since it was very bright outside.
Ringo was building a sandcastle.
"Syd, look at what I made!" He smiled.
Sydney put down her book and walked over to him.
"Aw, I love it, Ritchie." She crouched down, kissing him on the cheek.
"It's the queen's castle." Ringo announced proudly, folding his arms and admiring his work.
"It's amazing. Look, I see her!" Sydney grinned, pointing to a window.
Ringo grinned and looked at her.
"Hey, want to go in the water?" He asked her, getting up from the sand, holding his hand to help her get up after.
"Let's get in our yellow submarine." Sydney grinned. Ringo laughed. They raced to the ocean.
Sydney gasped at the sudden coldness of the water.
"Oh come off it, swimmers don't get cold." Ringo waved her off. Sydney was a very good swimmer in high school.
Sydney giggled, splashing Ringo slightly.
They swam in the water and had a great time.
Ringo and Sydney were jumping over waves, lucky to not fall under any.
"Rings, don't drown!" Sydney tried to contain her laughter as Ringo tried to go under a wave and he came back up, pretending he didn't know where he was.
"I just want to be under the sea, love?" Ringo said to her, smiling.
"In an Octopus's garden, I presume?" Sydney smirked.
"How did you know?" He joked.
The tide came in, and Ringo's sandcastle seemed to be gone.
Ringo pouted as he and Sydney exited the water; grabbing her hand and leading her to the sand.
"Rip the Queen." She commented.
"Aw." Ringo said.
"It's ok, we can build another castle." Sydney suggested.
"It's ok. It's just a castle. Plus, I want to have that special memory. It's more genuine." Ringo smiled at the sand.
Sydney kissed his cheek.
"Ah, I love the beach." She turned, staring beyond the ocean.
"Me too. Want to take a walk?" Ringo asked her. She nodded.
They walked along the seashore, admiring the lighthouse and the shells in the ground.
After a while, they went back to their spot, retrieved their things, and went to the cottage they rented.
"Let's take a shower, love. We need to get all the sand off of us after having such a wonderful day." Sydney grinned.
"Indeed, Syd. And let's make it even more unforgettable." Ringo said, leading Sydney into the bathroom, shutting the door so no one could hear anything.
"I love you so much." He breathed, slamming his lips onto hers.
"I love you more." She murmured.
"Not possible." He said after he pulled away, grinning ear to ear.
