Meri's POV:
Today is the day we're flying to EU headquarters to stay for a while. All of the states had already finished packing the stuff they needed and were ready to leave.
"States! We need to go now!" I shouted from the front door.
Soon enough they all came rushing to the front door ready to leave. One by one I held their hand and they disappeared in front of me, well not exactly "disappeared" but it's a bit hard to explain. Once all the states were together with me I left the house with all of the luggage and made sure to lock the door. Once I was out I saw the taxi park across the street. Perfect timing... I thought to myself. I checked both ways before crossing the street and waving to the taxi driver. He kindly got out and helped me with the luggage. I got in and put in some earbuds to listen to some music because honestly who doesn't? (Im just kidding pls don't @ me-)
Time skip to when they arrive 😍
We finally arrived at JFK airport, I paid the driver and gave him a tip before speed-walking to the entrance. Once I got in and passed all the security checks I went to sit down at a bench when I saw a rather familiar face. She had yellow, green, and red stripes and a white star in the middle of her face.
"Myanmar?"
"Eh- America? Hi!"
The enthusiastic country waved to me and gestured for me to sit in the seat next to her. I sat down and we started chatting for a bit. Honestly, if it weren't for the fact that she lived in the US for a while before moving back to Myanmar I would have never met her. Then a question popped up in my head.
"Hey Myanmar, why are you here anyways?" I inquired.
She seemed to have forgotten at first, but then she had remembered.
"Remember the time the UN building was attacked? (he didn't lmao) Well I was on my way to the building to discuss some things with UN, mostly about things happening in my country. I was in the building when the attack happened, so I was quite injured. Luckily, they found me and took me to a hospital." She calmly replied
I simply nodded my head and waited until we could board the plane while listening to music.

After waiting for about 30 minutes it was finally time to board the plane. I got on and went directly to my seat not even bothering to know who was sitting next to me. Im glad I bought a window seat, since that made the plane ride a little more bearable.
WOOHOO CHAPTER 2 IS OUT!! I got 0 hours of sleep last night so I had to skip school to get a bit more sleep, 4 hours is good enough i guess lmao. Anyways I'm kinda scared to go to school tomorrow because I'm posting this chapter right now and it's gonna be awkward if someone at school found this story... WHATEVERRRR I DONT CARE ANYMOREEEEE.
