As Taehyung and his soldiers cross into Eldhellen, the people scatter before them in terror and fear. Taehyung and his soldiers quietly watch as the people of Eldhellen run from them while no soldiers come to protect the people.
"To the capital. I am sure that the King is hiding in the castle with his soldiers protecting him." Taehyung spits out in disgust.
Taehyung and his army quickly ride through the small village toward the capitol looming in the distance. A King who does not protect his people does not deserve to be a king. Taehyung grits his teeth as he spurs Thana to quicken her pace.
"Your Majesty! Empress Jeon is coming this way with his army!" A guard runs into the throne room where the king is trembling on his throne.
"Do not call him an empress!" The King of Eldhellen shrieks in horror as his bloodshot eyes widen in fear.
"Your Majesty, our people are in danger. Our lands are vulnerable because you killed all of the dukes to appease the dead king of Ohkta. We will fall because of your greed." The king's brother mutters as the cry of the phoenix soaring above the castle sends eery chills down their spines.
"No! I will not bow to some banished prince!" The King of Eldhellen shouts in anger as he stands up from his throne with his sword in his hand.
When Taehyung and his army reach the castle gates, he stops Thana and looks up at the large castle walls. "So, his army is inside the castle gates. It looks like we will need to break the castle gates." Taehyung hums and looks at Jimin who is soaring above them. "Jimin, burn the gate!"
Within a few seconds, the phoenix swoops down and ignites the large wooden gate. As the gate burns, the people within the castle walls scream in horror and run to safety.
"Do not harm the civilians! If there are civilians in danger, move them to safety!" Taehyung commands his army who quickly shout in response. "Take the castle!"
The moment that the wooden gate is turned to ashes, Taehyung's army rushes into the castle. "Taehyung, we must find the King of Eldhellen and send him to Voreion for Jungkook to kill." Jin reminds Taehyung.
"Then it is time to find that weasel." Taehyung hums and calmly rides into the burning city.
Jimin perches on Taehyung's shoulder while Hoseok is to Taehyung's left and Jin is to Taehyung's right. As they ride through the chaos and flames, Taehyung keeps his eyes on the castle before him. A dangerous flame flickers in his eyes and a deadly sneer decorates his face as they draw near the castle.
The King of Eldhellen falls to the ground in fear when he sees the empress with death dancing in his eyes and a deadly sneer on his beautiful face.
"If you cannot protect our home, then I will!" The King's brother shouts and charges toward Taehyung with his sword drawn and several soldiers.
Hoseok draws his bow and aims at the prince running toward them and releases his arrow. They watch with pity in their eyes as the prince lifelessly falls to the ground.
As the enemy soldiers race toward them, Taehyung and Seokjin draw their swords. Without moving from their spots, they swiftly cut down the enemy soldiers. Neither winces as blood splatters on their faces.
"It looks like you are next." Taehyung hums and motions for Hoseok to shoot the King of Eldhellen. "Remember, only maim him."
When Hoseok's arrow flies toward the trembling king, white energy surrounds the king to protect him from the arrow. Taehyung's eyes flash blue as the energy of the ocean surrounds the arrow. With the energy of the sea, the arrow pierces through the white energy and pierces into the king's shoulder.
