I thought I'd lost you.
Those words. Those 5 words were enough for Aria Montgomery to completely fall apart. She was a young teenage girl that was close to graduation, with only prom left of her high school career, but she was abducted by another A member. Her whole body shivered while she was at the hospital. She didn't want to go nor was she given much of a choice. Caleb, Toby and Ezra made it compulsory that all of the girls were to go. But, Aria was constantly looking around the big white halls, waiting for someone to show up. She didn't know why, but she didn't feel safe. She felt a hand resting on her shoulders as she suddenly looked up, relieved to see Ezra.
"I thought you went home," Aria said as Ezra shook his head.
"No, I didn't. I anyway wouldn't be able to calm down if I didn't know you were safe," Ezra said.
Aria smiled and laid her hand on his. He felt the coldness of her hand as he grabbed the blanket that the nurses had given him and threw it over Aria. He sat down next to her, as he immediately pulled her onto his lap, and held her tight. Spencer and Hanna had gone home. It was only Aria and Emily still left at the hospital getting checked out.
"Em is nearly done," Alison said as Ezra nodded at her looking down at Aria.
"She's asleep," Ezra said as Alison smiled.
"Emily says that Aria was the most restless. She and Spencer was calm, Hanna was kinda just sitting on the metal table, but, um, Aria was left pancing up and down. She couldn't rest and she was scared," Alison said.
"But why? What exactly happened?" Ezra asked.
"They woke up after being unconscious and found themselves naked on a cold metal table. I don't know what they did to them and neither do they. None of them show any signs of abuse," Alison said as Ezra looked down at Aria.
Her dark hair fell over her skin while he couldn't even imagine what had happened. Aria's brown hair falling over her light skin made the situation they were in look differently. From any other person's perspective, Aria would have looked like a beautiful girl sleeping in the arms of her love. But to Ezra, it wasn't that. Aria was scared more than anything and more than anyone. And to him that said enough for him to be called out to avenge the person who did that.
"She seems peaceful," Alison said.
"She's scared out of her mind, Alison. And I don't know how to help her," Ezra said.
"Ezra, they were drugged, and goodness knows what happened to them. All you can do is be there for her," Alison said.
