"Our anomaly has traveled through the multiverse- though leaving no further destruction behind, this is definitely worth investigating. This could be what is empowering these other glitches in the web." Miguel had his arm crossed, telling his current strike team the current target. They hadn't even caught a glimpse of what it was, they were late each and every time. He had spent weeks looking for any sign of where it would go next. It was frustrating, he was lying to his team. He had zero idea what it was, or why it was there. He'd make sure today he'd find out, today he would have something to credit the hours he spent looking. He swiped his watch, opening the golden portal.

This was earth-921. Another Peter Parker, another Spiderman in red and blue. "Search the area." His team of spiders spread out through the city. He kept forward, placing more of his devices in each building. He was done running after this anomaly, the biggest one they had been tracking yet. That's when he saw it, lights erupting from the street ahead. Miguel ran at full speed toward the glitching in the city. But the moment he had gotten there, it was empty. People walking to lunch, to work, anywhere. He was the only thing not supposed to be there today. He groaned, fist clenching once again. Until a shoulder knocked into him, it was light- almost too light. He had dropped his watch. The figure, he now saw wearing a raincoat, picked it up for him. Their hands were small but offered the gadget back to him. They wore matching rain boots and ripped tights. "Sorry." She said as he paused to grab it from her. "It's alright." Was all he said, taking the watch from her hands. He searched for their face in the dark city, squinting to see that she didn't have one. It was hidden by glitches he had been looking for so long.

His watch glew up, "Anomaly #1 detected." She froze, before booking it down the city streets a vampire not long behind her. She was agile, as she was quick. She transported through glass and walls to get away from the pursuer. "Stop Running!" He unclasped his claws, digging through the concrete buildings to get to her. She pounced from its top before appearing at the ground floor. Her glitching had given her the advantage in the chase. She was glitching through walls, air, he had never seen anything like it before. And just as he landed, she was gone. "Check the perimeter for the anomaly." He told his watch, the yellow light scanned the perimeter. As he walked through the abandoned buildings, much farther from the city than he expected to be. She was fast, and if she wasn't an anomaly she might've gotten a watch to match his. He froze when he heard the quiet footsteps of her boots.

He heard her yelp before he turned the corner. Miguel watched her hand glitch and unfocus, as she held it tight. She was experiencing the atom issue, but the bigger issue was how she survived this long. Normally it would've taken its toll within 24 hours. She gasped for breath, as he landed behind her. "Look, I'm not gonna hurt you," Miguel told her, his hands hovering up. Y/n pushed herself away from him, until hitting the concrete wall. Her hand still glitching, he cornered her slowly. "Where are you from?" Her arm began to unfocus the moment he said it. But she stood up, before phasing through and sweeping his legs in an escape. Miguel grabbed her hood at the last minute, shoving her down to the floor. "This doesn't have to be so difficult-!" She struggled under his grasp, he couldn't deny he liked it. "Lyla, scan her." The familiar yellow light stopped at the figure. "I can't with all the anomalies surrounding her face. You'll need her atoms to settle before I can do a full scan."

He threw a web at her wrist, "What can I do?" Lyla processed for a moment, "I am not sure. She's different from the other anomalies we've caught." He turned off the watch, before crouching down to Y/n. "How do you usually get this to stop?" He remembered how she held her arm earlier. Miguel lightly grabbed her arm, before trying to settle it still. He saw how she turned away, how she shook. That assured him it was just as painful as the usual glitches the spiders went through without a pass. "Relax." He told her before her arm began to still. He sat back, reaching his arm out to web her body still. "I'll get you home soon." He pulled down her jacket's hood, "Stop!" Her voice was scattered into tens of them, all warning him to knock it off.
