「 Chapter - 4 」

[Emersyn's POV]

We arrived at the drive in and paid for our tickets which made Ivan protest.

▪︎Ivan whines▪︎

"Hey I wanted to pay!" Ivan said still whining like a baby.

I smiled and rolled my eyes at his behavior.

"You can pay for snacks" I told him.

"Alright" he said and smiled.

I scanned the seats my eyes landing on a certain red head.

Ophelia and Lyla waved us over and we didn't hesitate.

"Hi!" Lyla said in a excited voice smiling.

"Hey" I waved at her.

"Hi." He said

"Hey." Ophelia said continuing it.

▪︎all four of them giggled▪︎

The seating places were Lyla, Ophelia a row behind Ivan and I.

I looked at Ophelia and gave her a warm
smile.

"How are you and my brother? Hope he hasn't been giving you any problem."

"He's been..." Ophelia trailed.

▪︎Ophelia pauses and bites the inside of her cheek▪︎

"Okay. Its just when it comes to serpents. Well he can be a bit..."

"Stupid?" I said.

Ophelia chuckles lightly.

"I was gonna say much, but.stupid is probably the best word."

We moved a few rows down as the movie started still in the same seating.

"You guys want anything? I'm gonna get something from the concession stand." I asked the three of em.

Ophelia and Lyla passed.

"How about you?" I asked Ivan.

"A small popcorn" he said.

▪︎Emersyn holds out hand and smirks▪︎

"Hand it over."

He smiled and handed me enough money to get him popcorn and get myself a thing or two.

It took forever to get to the front of the line but I made it an got myself a cherry cola and a medium popcorn since I wanted to take some from Ivan.

l walked back and noticed someone was way to close for comfort basically all over Ophelia.

She was clearly uncomfortable.

I stormed over and handed the things to Ivan before going back and ready to pry off the stink bag from Ophelia.

"Emy please-" Ivan said.

l ignored Ivan and grabbed the guys shoulder.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

l froze, my anger and confidence dissolving and being replaced with fear.

I pulled away my hand.

"Rhys Wynston"

The words escaped my lips on their own.

He looked mad at first but then looked at my body, he let out a whistle as his eyes carefully examined my body.

I glanced at Ivan.

Through his teeth he said "I told you."

My gaze went back to Rhys and I crossed my arms.

"What the hell are you you doing?"

▪︎Rhys miles in amusement▪︎

"I was just havin a nice chat."

"Emersyn??" Ezra asked or more like said.

▪︎Emersyn turns to see Ezra and Troy, she softly smiles at them.▪︎

"Oh hi guys" I said.

"You know this chick?" both of them nod their head.

"She's the one who saved us from Tyler." Ezra said.

I see Rhys getting mad.

"Did that wealth try to pull something again?" He asked both the guys.

I tensed up at the mention of
my brothers name.

I moved back to my seat next to Ivan who wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

▪︎Rhys mutters to himself▪︎

"I'm gonna kill that stupid wealth."

Ivan gave me a reassuring squeeze.

"Don't worry he'll be fine." Ivan said.

l nodded but noticed Rhys still flirting with Ophelia until finally she blew up.

"Get lost snake!"

Ivan jumps, Emy giggles.

"Aww now whose tense?"

He let go of me as I made fun of him.

"You snakes gonna start in on us too?!"

l had been distracted to notice that Rhys had left leaving Ezra and Troy alone.

"Ophelia. They're nice guys" I told her.

▪︎Ophelia softly smiles▪︎

"Oh yeah you're the two serpents we met yesterday."

l turned to continue watching the movie.

Ivan and I were making comments until Rhys came back, he handed Ivan, Ophelia, and Lyla a drink. Ivan loooked at it and shrugged.

"Thought these might cool ya down."Rhys said looking at me "I brought you these"

▪︎Rhys tosses her twizzlers▪︎

"You're sour." He said smirking.

▪︎Emersyn smirks, grabs her cup and smiles while taking a long sip from her straw.▪︎

"Mmm refreshing. I don't need your charity." I said throwing him back the twizzlers, as he chuckles.

"What the hell are you doing?" Ivan say, whispering.

We both noticed Ophelia spilling her
drink on Rhys, he had an amused smirk.

"Oh feisty" he said leaning over her.

"Get lost!" Ophelia shouted.

▪︎Emersyn was about to get up▪︎

▪︎"That's it" she said while doing so but gets pulled back.▪︎

"Emy stop. Don't do anything you'll regret." Ivan told her.

"Oh I promise I won't regret this. Let me g-" I was interrupted by Rhys.

"I would listen to your boyfriend."

"Son of a-" again interrupted.

"Emersyn!!"

Ivan has never raised his voice like that.

"Whatever."
