For those of you who read my guide to Street Fighter 2 you should know the first thing to understand is how to choose your character the right way. There are 3 things to consider when doing this.
Perceived strength: A character's strength is the first step because we all want to win. Examples of strong characters are Sagat,Akuma,Zangief,and Ken.
Playstyle: You should preferably find an easy to play character who "fits your hands". That way you can enjoy yourself. Some examples of easy to play characters are Ryu,Chun Li,Sakura,and Charlie.
Personality: You should know your character's personality and see if it fits you so you feel comfortable playing as them. Some examples of characters I like are Guy,Rose,M.Bison, and Rolento.
