Party streamers go off everywhere inside the classroom, it's the last day of school. They've all graduated. There's fizzy drinks, Fanta, coke, sprite..all sorts. Cake: vanilla and chocolate with strawberries. Everyone is saying their last goodbye's. The classroom is buzzing with noise. Yeon Sieun, walking away from the class, backpack on and certificate in hand- not apart of it at all. Exams are over. He is free. No more after school study sessions. He can finally go off and do what he wants. He reaches the end of the staircase towards the main entrance only to see a familiar face. Sieuns eyes light up- such as a whole galaxy was hidden behind. Clearly, only one person is capable of seeing them."Come on, let's go" Suho says, lifting off the wall he was waiting on and swinging his bike keys in his pointy finger.
"Have you got everything?" Sieun asks, walking closer. Suho turns to face him.
"What do I even have to take? I slept in every lesson. Got my certificate emailed to me"
Suho's face is extremely close to Sieun, for no reason. A thin strand of each others hair almost intertwine before Sieun turns his head away.
"Let's go."

They make it to Sieun's house, it's almost 4:30.
"Suho, hold this please" he asks whilst shoving his bag into Suho's arms, rummaging through to find his keys, stashed in a little pocket inside. Suho doesn't lift his eyes of Sieun, it almost burns his head through.
"Hey.." Suho mutters under his breath, Sieun finally finds the keys.
"Hm?" Sieun turns around and unlocks the door.
"You're really pretty."
Sieun almost broke the key in the hole when he heard that. He stutters "What?", the doors open.
There's no one home.
Suho starts to say something but stops, Sieun turns to face him but gets pushed aside as Suho whole heartedly makes his way inside-the proximity between the two is the same as a button stitch. Not a single word is being said, no eye contact, not even a single brush of skin or clothing yet both hearts are beating like it's fighting to live.
They distance, Suho allowing Sieun to walk comfortably in his own home. Suho makes his way to the bathroom whilst Sieun walks over to his desk. Looking over at the pile of books that he no longer needs and the pins of equations and historical facts that have already been flushed away in his mind, well, to a point. He doesn't need to remember who the king is Joseon was anymore. No longer needed to wonder the meaning of an English word. School was over, and a new chapter of his life has started. The long summer break before University.Suho opens the door to the bathroom and silently hisses Sieuns name, once, twice, until he repeats it more stronger and clearer. Sieun who was in the midst of tidying his desk up and removing the mass number of sticky notes off his wall finally hears. "Yeah?"
"Can you pass me some clothes..and a towel?"
Sieun sighs walking to his drawer.
"There's a spare towel inside the left compartment..and why didn't you take clothes before showering?"
"I was in a hurry."
"For what?"
No reply. Sieun closes the drawer and walks to the bathroom. Steam steeping out, he can get a small glance of Suho bare body. Thankfully, he's wrapped around in a towel.
"Here" passing over an oversized shirt and some pants horizontally through the small gap Suho created.
"Ahh you life saver thank youu"Later on, Suho comes out dressed in Sieun's clothes. Sieun brewing some tea unaware with the fact his head is still spinning from the earlier interactions. He can't help but let his mind wonder.
"What ya doing?"
Suho appears behind him and over his shoulder, his left arm reach out before Sieun, almost leaning against him. Sieun slightly startled, afraid to turn around. He's too close, Suho is practically breathing against his ear. Sieun feels like a landlocked country unable to access the ocean, unable to trade, unable to fend for itself without the help of surroundings. But Sieun doesn't like that. He wants his country to be strong and be able to fend for himself. He wants nothing else. In a split second, Sieun turns around, grabbing the resting left arm away from the counter and onto his waist-pushing Suho backwards into the small dining table. The amount of sheer force Sieun omitted caused the bowl of fruit to table over. There's silence and a orange rolling on the floor. The tea is bubbling, it's getting darker and the two are intertwined."Sieun-ah..?" Suho questions him, his eyes locked with his, even for him there's no escape. Suho's land locked country is the country where he cannot escape Sieun's eyes. Sieun gulps a bit before pushing away. Suho's left arm still beside Sieun's waist; Sieun's hands let go of the shirt he's tugging. A midst that he realises that they're wearing a couple set, Suho notices too.
The tea is done.
"Which cup would you like?" Sieun asks holding up two cups, one red, one blue.
"I don't mind"
"Well, I always use blue so take red" almost declaratively. A small chuckle from the other is heard, followed along with the word "cute". Sieun wants to pay no mind to it, his stomach almost caused him to do a physical back flip.Suho takes the cup from Sieun's hand, Sieun who was trying to be caution by not letting their hands touch as they did, did the opposite. The cup slips away from Sieun's hand a moment before Suho had full clasp of it, falls and burns Suho a bit. Not drastically. However, the table now not only has a missing orange, but spilt tea.
"Argh." Suho groans in pain. Sieun panics, he places his cup down and immediately gets an ice pack out the fridge.
"I'm so sorry, I'm not sure what I was thinking. I thought you had the cup, I'm sorry it's my fault it's all-"
"Stop, it's okay." Suho reassures him. "It's not your fault"
Sieun almost tearing.
"I'm sorry I don't mean to be this sensitive.."
He trails off. Suho reaches towards Sieun's face and wipes the small tears, Sieun pressing the ice pack onto his hand.
After the ice pack got a bit warmer, they checked up on the burn it wasn't serious, the pain stemmed from the sudden impact and heat on the tea. But just for caution, well specifically for Sieun's state of mind, he applied some ointment. Perhaps to fasten the healing process. In the end, the burnt was covered with a waterproof plaster with hearts on it.
"What, I don't have any others."
"Yeon Sieun.. you're quite a romantic aren't you?" A small smirk perks upon the former athletes face.
Sieun rolls his eyes. Closing the first aid kit and putting it away in the cupboard.
"Are you done yet?" He turns and crosses his arms. "Isnt Young-yi coming over?"
They both forgot that they had planned to celebrate the last day of school with Young-Yi.
"Oh shit, I bet she spammed our group chat"
Suho was right. Almost 20 messages all from Young-Yi asking what time she should come, the address, what to bring. The last message said "ugh I'm tired of you love birds I'm just gonna stay home and watch Netflix then."
Suho snorted "love birds?" then looked up to Sieun from his phone "do they actually exist?".
Sieun suddenly felt disappointment in himself. Almost asking whether someone like him actually fell for a guy like that.
Wait.
Fell.?
