Please don't copy my work. Thanks!
My name is Henry. I am a pretty normal kid. I have two sisters, Olivia and Stella. Olivia is 13 and Stella is 10. I've a bad life, believe me!
I am at a ballet recital for Stella. Booooring!!!!!!! When I was there, I said "Dad can we leave?!?" My dad said "come on, I love this! We are staying for the entire show!"
I was mad because I was missing the NBA finals. I HATE LIFE!!!!!!!! At least I thought I said that in my head. I guess I was wrong...
Everyone turned their killer eyes on me... the parents, the dancers, and the cameras. My sister went red. The camera men announced that the show must go on! Did I mention I am seven years old??
Ten minutes later, at the end of the show.... "any volunteers? The dancers are going to demonstrate their skills." To my horror, my dad raised his hand and screamed "MY SON SHOULD DO IT! HE IS AMAZING!! MY SON IS THE BEST DANCER HERE."
Everyone turned their killer eyes on my dad. Now he gets a taste of my medicine. They beckoned me up, just to get my dad to shut up.
I walked on stage, praying I would get to dance with my sister and not a total stranger. But we all know my luck. The instructor said "Susie why don't you dance with him."
Susie????? SERIOUSLY?!
She was picking her nose and eating her boogers. I started to get the willies. Susie's mom shouted "dance baby, dance!!" She stepped in front of me and placed her hands on my hips. Barf. It felt like a million hours. She dipped me at the end. I'm humiliated.
When it was over, finally, everyone aplauded. The parents started to chant, "love, love, love." And what is even worse is the kids who chanted "kiss, kiss, kiss!" Stella was the loudest of all. Susie puckered up and leaned in for the home run. She kissed me.
The instructor ran onstage and pulled her away from me. "But I loooove him!!" Susie cried
When I got in the car, I felt better. Knowing that an awful last day of summer will make school tomorrow so much better. I hope this year will be great.
Another day lived through.
By the way, this is not a diary.
