"Mamu i would have stayed in the hostel'"swadheenta said as they walked to her room.
"arey betaji , apna ghar hote hue hostel mei kya rehna, aur vaise bhi teri mami aur mujhe ek beti chahiye thi ab dekho, aagayi humari betiji ghar" jovially said mamu
"but mamu asad ko takleef hogi mere padhne ke times se"
"arey vo nalayak tumse thoda seekh lega, aur agar aisa lage toh chath pe ya dining mei padh lena, koi disturb nahi karega"
early in the morning swadheenta was studying in the terrace when she heard metals clincking and and someone groaning
she went to find the source while she say a boy lifting dumb bells doing workouts
she was watching as she couldnt identify a face when he turned and she ducked
"vaha koun hai", he approached slowly
swadheenta just ducked down silently praying to not be found when she heard again
"maine pucha koun hai vaha", niklo abhi
she realised he is closer to her wall and can even jump the roof to find out
she peeked out slowly and said "vo, mai hu"
"tum koun? pehli baar dekha iss society mei"
"mai swadheenta, vo haidar mamu meri ma ke bhai hai"
they were awestruck of seeing eachother
"haa ,mamu ki bhanji, ma ke bhai hi hote hai mamu"he chuckled
she too gave a nervous laugh, seeing which he said "mujhe laga koi chor hog, btw mai adarsh" he said with a smile

"tum holiday pe aayi ho?"
"nahi, mamu ke saath rehne aayi hu, mera collge admission yaha hua hai."
"kya padh rahi ho?"

"badhiya phir, kabhi lawyer ki zarurat hogi toh tumhe bula lunga", he eased her out
swadheenta just smiled , still mesmerised by his adorable smile
"tum kabhi soti bhi ho"adarsh said out loud one night
swadheenta turned surprised that night
"bas padhai jab khtam ho"
"mai toh kabhi chatt par nahi padh pata tha, hamesha ek shaant kamra chahiye hota hai"
"acha, aisa bhi kya padhai?"
"upsc", she was surpised again that night in a row
"tum police mei ho?"
adarsh chuckled , "nahi, ias hu, kyu police se darti ho?"
swadheenta nodded, "nahi lekin bas aisehi"
"aisehi kya? laga ki mai vella giri karta hu?"
"aisa kuch nahi, toh tum ab workout karne aaye ho?"
"nah, ek drink peene bas, ma ko pasand nahi to chatt pe aajata hu"
"ias ho aur ma se darte ho?"
"nah unke emotional atyachar se darta hu"
swadheenta laughed , and he saw that dimple on her that was cute
"chalo ab padh lo", he moved to another corner of terrace where he was drinking
swadheenta was nervous for the first time as she felt his eyes on her and when she looked and saw him looking at her she turned her face into books while he smiled and left.
