This is honestly such an underrated ship and I love it sm. Perhaps i'll write a story one of these days using this ship? Lmk if you'd want to read that!

The hot summer air felt sticky and humid against Todoroki as he sat outside reading a book. He'd neared the end when his phone buzzed, a message from the class 1-A gc from Mina:
Mina- It's soooooo hot, does anyone have a pool?
Yaoyorozu- I do, if you all want to meet at my place we could have a pool party? I'll make tea?
The text was quickly followed by a stream of others as most of the class agreed to meet up. Setting down his book, Shoto stood and sent a text:
Shoto- Be there soon
~A few minutes later~
Most of class 1-A met at Yaomomos and a few others were also there. The pool was decently sized and tables were spread out with umbrellas to shade anyone who didn't want to get in the pool but still wanted to get away from the heat. A table inside held all kinds of foods and drinks, from dessert to pizza, tea to soda, all either generously provided by Momo's family or were brought by other attendees.
Todoroki sat under a big weeping willow in the corner of the Yaoyorozu backyard, content with reading his book while still being around his friends. He was about five pages to the end when Iida sat next to him, "I noticed you weren't joining in on the fun?"
Shrugging, the other stated, "I'm almost done with my book, I thought it'd be good to get away from all the chaos. Plus this book was borrowed, so I don't want it getting wet."
"I see," the blue haired boy said, nodding, "what book are you reading?"
Flashing the cover, Todoroki frowned, "it's really boring but i'm so close to finishing it so I might as well."
They sat in silence as Shoto finished his book. When he was done, Tenya asked, "I never did ask what the book was about?"
The class rep sat as the other boy explained the book and before they knew it, they were both talking about their favorite and least favorite books. Some of the descriptions were oddly phrased but it made the conversation fun.
Finally, they found a book they were both familiar with.
"I love that book!" Todoroki exclaimed.
Tenya chuckled, "me too."
"I don't think i've ever had such an amazing talk with someone about books."
Smiling, Iida offered the other boy a hand, "how about we go swim now before everyone thinks we left."
Taking his hand, Shoto led the other boy lead him towards the pool, where they were greeted by their other friends.

That was a really short chapter and not very well written, I apologize but I kinda ran out of time, today and tomorrow were/will be, super busy so I'm not sure I'll be able to post a new chapter tomorrow but i'll write a make-up chapter whenever I have time. Anyway, what's a book you're currently reading? Since this story was pretty much about books?
I'm not sure what tomorrows ship will be so it'll be a surprise for all of us! Anyway, I hope y'all enjoyed and I can't wait to write the next story!
