Summary: Breaking you was unintentional, but it still has its upsides.

You don't talk anymore.

Tsukishima wishes you did. Even your pleas to be released and your angry insults were better than this wretched silence.

You spent most of your time lying on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

He'd untied you long ago, using cameras and locked doors with sensors to monitor your attempts to escape. The first few times you tried your hardest to leave your new home, but, as time went on, you eventually gave up.

You broke.

As much as he wanted to believe that you stopped trying to escape because you liked it there, Tsukishima knew that the repeated punishments after each consecutive failure had become too much for you. Now you just simply didn't try.

You had also stopped trying to fight him off when he initiated affection. He never went too far, but he knew that you wished he didn't touch you at all. At first, you'd fought as hard as your bindings would allow you to, but now you just sat there meekly until he left or stopped cuddling you.

A part of Tsukishima ached to see your stare so blank and your body motionless. It hurt to see you so broken.

But it had an upside.

You're thankful to him when he brings you to school. You're under the impression that it's a reward for your good behavior, but really? It's just another selfish request.

He's nervous that you'll take any opportunity to escape or tell someone that you've been kidnapped. But the moment never comes. You do and say everything he told you to, and you'd even perked up a little at the new sights and fresh air.

You act normally, just like he wants you to, but it's a little off somehow. Like there's no life behind your actions.

He gives you time to talk to your friends, all while hovering over your shoulder to make sure they don't ask too many questions and you don't dare to answer them honestly. Then, it's his turn to do what he's wanted to do all along.

You even act a little shy as Tsukishima shows you off, introducing you to his teammates as his girlfriend. It's an ego boost for him, to have a girlfriend when none of his teammates have had one yet, and he revels in their jealousy.

Maybe breaking you isn't so bad after all.
