I open the front door to find a Selection guard at the door and think which one is he here for. "Is Cordette Godfrey home?" Oh crap I think it's for me, it can't be for me. "No my sister is not home. Sorry. " "When will she be?" "I have no id..."
"Cordette, who is it dear?" Mother cuts me off. "Oh, officer who is it that you need?" "That would be you daughter here. She tried to get out of it by claiming to be one of her sisters. Cordette Godfrey you must come with me." He reaches out his hand.
"No! I don't want to! Mommy don't let him take me. You promised me that you would never let anyone take me away." I cried as I held onto her.
"I'm sorry sweetheart but you must go. I can't stop him even if I tried. Just promise you will do your best. My little superstar. I love you." Mom cried as she hugged me.
"Time to go Miss. Cordette." The guard said as he grabbed my arm and lead me away from my home. I look back and cry as we walk away. He leads me to a horse drawn carriage surrounded by at least 10 more guards and gestures from me to get in.
I get in and we set out for the castle.
